8 Day Black Forest Movement Cuckoo Clock

I have here, a clock that was missing a chain, but still had the weights, topper and pendulum. The clock didn't get used very much before the chain was pulled from the clock. The movement was shiny, so I show taking the movement out of the clock so I could oil the clock, front and back so the clock should be good to go for another 5 to 7 years. Fresh oil is the key to keeping the old oil from drying up and turning gummy.
I am also using the Free version of Clip Champ on this video. The only difference for me is I can't upload to 4K.

Here I do most of my work on clocks. Mainly cuckoo clocks, yet I am always looking for the unusual and eye catching clocks. Some of the clocks I get into are ones that need saved from the dump. They fell off the wall from not securing the clock to the wall using the stud behind the sheetrock. Some of the clocks were laid to rest out in the garage or barn and I except the challenge of getting them back together again.
A well loved clock at one time is one that has a lot of wear and you find old bushings that might need to be replaced.
