Great video, man! Question: Did you use the same vanishing point for the top face and for each respective front face? (I’m not an artist at all, but am trying to learn how to do this.) Nice job!
Does anyone know if there is one type or brand of chalk that is better tha another? We went today to the Sarasota County Chalk festival in Venice Florida and noticed other type of product being used in addition to chalk. I'm happy it didn't rain. I was worried if it did would it all be washed away? Or maybe there is a type of chalk that can withstand the elements at least for a few days? Anyway, it was fun to go and see all the talent from all around the world come to Venice, Florida. This was a great video.
many professional artists use pastles instead of chalk to make the colours more vivid. Many people also make their own pastels to get a broader range of colours.
Thank you for posting this! I work with a boy who has Autism, loves art, and will want to make this with me!!!!

Why is it necessary for a water to be used when doing the artwork?
*****
Oh alright. I thought there was something else behind it. Thanks.
It also sinks more into the pavement so improves the works lifespan.
@@shmuel112 I can't see, are you dipping the chalk or brushing water after you lay the chalk and blending?
Loves you too
I have the same kind of chalk

Why does he use water??
Alexis Billingslea to blend
Better, more ev3n coverage and the chalk will grip the surface from seeping down into it well. Adds some longevity.
