the preference simply puts you with other players with the same preference. a casual player is a bot and so you’re getting bots on your team while the rest of the lobby is normal. it doesn’t change sbmm it will still do it’s best to sbmm you.
Actually staying in competitive is easier now because all pros and sweats switch to casual for bot lobbies, so ur only gonna find sweats and pros in casual, genius idea for people that actually know what's going on, all the smart people are gonna stay in competitive to get bot lobbies now

This is for fill parties so if you put casual on preferences it matches you with casual preference players to in your fill party.
That's how that works, it's for finding casual or competitive party so that you may find others that plays like you
