Minecraft, but I gave clouds an update by turning them into blocks. We also gave Dogs an update for Minecraft. If you missed it, I coded pillagers differently in Minecraft. We also answered the age old question of what if minecraft had magnets!
The cloud in a bucket item could be used for potions of levitation.
I legitimately thought that the effect levitation came from a potion or enchantment.
Needless to say I was disappointed.

@@RubyPiec I imagine it like the frostbite effect when you are inside of a powered snow block, you're screen could probably have a different effect to what normal blindness is like mist moving around your screen covering parts of your vison, like a mariokart blooper or something. I haven't really thought about it in a while.

I’m thinking “Nimbus Spirit” would be a good name for the Cloud Dudes, they should also be rideable using saddles, possibly special kinds of saddle only found in some sky temples, OR, just a normal saddle infused with the ingots of Cloud Ores.

You should change the cloud dude's AI so that they don't go below a specific (high) Y value, so that they never come to the ground chasing the player, but stay at cloud height.

I think it would make more sense for the rain filled clouds to appear before it starts raining instead of after as 1. It would then be a great way for players to know when it's about to rain and 2. That's, well, how the water cycle works..

@@pey4681 I feel like fully removing the problems of fall damage would be a bit unbalanced just fully removing any danger high cliffs can cause.
I've thought of a wing helmet or boots. Where you can glide in the air for a few short seconds before falling like normal, it could be useful for scaling the new mountains coming in caves and cliffs part 2, having more options for parkour courses, while also giving more uses to switching amour parts like how gold makes piglins passive and the turtle helmet makes you breath underwater for longer.
Or maybe instead of using feather falling to walk on clouds you could make vapor with the vapor crystal and combine it with boots in a crafting table to be able to walk on clouds
@@-Rika I don’t really see any problem with it. If cloud ore is rare enough and hard enough to process then it’s technically balanced. Not only that but we already have ways of either permanently or temporarily removing certain sources of damage. Such as turtle helmets and fire res potions.

@@cowboy_cat3368 I actually though of it as being obtainable during thunderstorms in the same way as other kinds of clouds, but... such crafting recipe could work too.
Perhaps it would be even possible to "extract" the lightning out of it in result getting regular wet cloud and "lightning in a bottle", which could be used like throwed potions but instead of generating effect it would inflict lightning strike in place where it hits.

The achievement for mining a cloud block should be titled ‘Made in Heaven’ or ‘Stairway to heaven’ once you reach to a certain distance among the clouds!

While I think a cloud update would be cool, I think the aether will never get added. It's great as a mod, and I think it would be quite unoriginal. Also its kind of stealing. I also think the end should be updated before any new dimensions are added

Cloud ore could be used to tame the 'cloud dudes' meaning you can fly them around. You can also use it to make weapons/armour

New idea:
•grimoire: every grimoire has an element that allows you to do certain thing.
•wind: amplified knock back damage and distance.
•Water: slows mobs
•ice: stun mobs and dwindle a monsters health the longer they are frozen.
•fire: burn damage thag chips away at enemy health aslong as they are on fire.
•earth: create giant rocks that pull in blocks to deal additional damage.
Lava: similar to earth and fire, being able to set the earth on fire and the blocks it pulls in aswell, dealing both forms of damage.
Summoning: any mob you've killed you can summon them over and over as a companion.
Dark: drains you enemies health and give it to the user.
(And more that can be added)
A good name for close dude could be “Zephyr “ (a reference to a great mod), phloud (phanthom cloud) or potentially strathom (a word play of phanthom and stratus cloud).

Maybe cloud ore can be made to make armor that can let you basically walk on air (as long as you are on or were on a cloud) and when paired with the enchantment (or one similar to) frost walker can let you make clouds as you walk
It can also be used to make something that makes the cloud dudes (or Flouds! Wisps, Brezzes [pronounced Breeses] etc. or any of the other names people have made for them) docile towards players and things to ride and tame them :) among other things

You could have used the whole sky. Above traditional cloud height, there's plenty of space for different cloud layers until the building limit. Each layer could have its own thing, its own style. There could be room for different types of structures in each layer.
Even in real life, clouds are organised in layers.

It's like a mix of 1.17 features... the clouds are basically powdered snow and the rain is like the copper. That being said, I've wanted a standalone cloud mod since 2012.

I feel like when you mount Cloud Dude, you should be able to control the direction you go while slowly gliding down, but not how fast you fall or anything, only change left and right. Then once Cloud Dude touches a block, you're automatically dismounted.

You seem to post a lot of these types of comments on this channel, so why not just post your own videos? You don't have to learn to code, you would just need a basic understanding of resourcepacks and commands to pull off these sort of effects.
Or, you could post these ideas as tweets or something on Twitter with a picture, which would be better the miscellaneous ideas that don't make a long enough video.

It would be really cool if Cloud Dude was able to be tamed with a random amount of buckets of water and he would turn a dark gray to signify the tame, and tamed ones would fight off phantoms (as well as other mobs).
There should be a "salt" when smelting a sand so when you get up to clouds you can put salt on it so as to rain- and that's called "Cloud Seeding"🌦️🌧️

He probably just copied the code of them then gave them the ability to transform during rainy weather, and made new textures cuz there is both the soaked cloud and the normal cloud blocks. Also, since he literally said that he was going to release the mod, im assuming that the clouds will naturally generate. The block is a different block all together but with almost the same mechanics

I actually really like the cloud idea - one of your better ones. I feel like the Cloud Guys would be just as hated at the phantom though, and seeing as you're one of the many people who never stops going on about them, I was surprised to see you add it (If you wanted a new mob up there, I'd consider the illusioner).
I like the idea of being able to walk on clouds with a special enchantment, but I think it should be it's own unique thing, like Soul Speed. I've thought of the idea of floating islands in the Overworld before, basically content you would be able to get after you get an elytra, so perhaps that's where the cloud walker enchantment could come from.
The soaked cloud idea seems interesting, but I think 'Dense cloud' sounds better. In an earlier video you showed off a cloud-in-a-bottle idea, so I think it would be cool if that was a thing you could only get through the dense clouds. Although it would be more realistic to have the freeze effect applied when you're really high up, I can see that being super annoying for people who enjoy buildings tall structures or want to have a mountain base, and something I can't imagine Mojang would make us endure.
Also, I get that you're trying to appeal to all sorts of players, but the clouds would not be as handy as you would think for redstone, since we already have cobwebs and powder snow. It's fine though. XD

You just got a new subscriber! I have some suggestions for the cloud ore and cloud dude.
Cloud dude should be called the Cloud guardian. He pushes you off the clouds to protect them, and will follow you until you give up and leave. Also, if you kill a cloud guardian, he will drop a cloud apple. When you eat it, you will gain the ability to fly.
And for the cloud ore....
When mined, there is a 5% chance of it dropping a sky crystal. If you craft a certain amount, (your choice) you can get the cloud wings, which allow you to fly, and the cloud dudes will not attack you. Another thing the cloud wings can do is make the weather rain by pressing shift and right clicking. To undo, do it again. Anyways, back to the cloud ore. Cloud ore does 7 damage when crafted into a sword. When you make cloud armor, you will no longer freeze (Same thing with the cloud wings)!
I hope you like my ideas!

Love how you constantly develop updayes for minecraft that are actually fun and useful yet they take forever to make one.. keep up the great work.. also a cloud ore name could be "skyminium ore".. or something, allowing you to create a new feature and a new crafting recipe as long as a cloud crafting table thing, adding a skiminium ingot added to any boots iron and up gives you double jump (with a cloud under your second jump for cool looks) as well as skyminium armor and tools, allowing you to have permanent but controllable slow falling, hitting an enemy with a skyminium hammer or something makes them levitate and hit the ground plus the attack damage.. giving more to the update-

Idea for Minecraft:
Double ender chest (I know this will never be added, but I want it).
There are mods and server plugins to do that, though it doesn't change the appearance of the enderchest.
How will it work it you fill a double chest then open a single chest? Will it just not show the other items until you make it a double?
I think different types of enderchest’s could work better, a public echest crafted using an ender pearl instead of eye of ender could work as a portable chest with the negative of other players being linked to the enderpearl ender chests.
Name could be: pearlchest
It could have a pearl in tue middle instead of a eye of ender.
Or maybe different tiers; iron, gold, diamond and netherite.
Crafting: surround the echest with said item/ingot, netherite chests will work differently and use the smithing table by combining a diamond chest with a netherite ingot (like armour and tools).
Iron: adds extra storage row.
Gold: adds 2 extra rows.
Diamond: same storage amount as a double chest (3 extra rows).
Netherite: will make the chest fire/lava proof and could have a new effect where taking out an item from the chest will give the item 5-10 minutes of being fireproof.
@@-Rika the plugins i know use some menu. We have one installed that supports up to 54 enderchests per player.

The cold effect from being too high would probably be really _cool_ for Caves and Cliffs. You would actually have to wear leather armor to not freeze. _Maybe they could add insulation and a temperature system?_ Might be crazy but I think it would be neat.
Idea for Minecraft:
The doors, the trapdoors and the fence gates have an animation when we open and close them.

for 1.17 i think in future they should add underground villages
and the warden is like the iron golem of them
i also think you should be able to heal the warden with weak potions and golden apples
then you can trade with the underground villagers
The Cloud dudes should drop cloud hide for cloud armour that will make you glide in the sky
