What if at one point in time Pennywise got curious about humanity and decided to shape shift into a human to fit in more and learn from people. Eventually, he met a woman that found his childlike curiosity endearing and enjoyed his company. This woman had bright orange hair and by coincidence she had a daughter who also had the same hue of hair as Pennywise when he took form as a human. It was the most perfect coincidence the could've happened to Pennywise also like an opportunity to experience something else then just being a shape shift fear eating parasite. For months Penny assumed the role as the Father and Husband and nobody in public bat an eye because they resembled so much like each other. Eventually, Penny took a Job as a Clown and everyday he would "Dress up" and entertain small or large crowds with his performance. Once again another role that was made for him, he often used his powers of illusion to do Magic Tricks and people would be amazed. Pennywise felt adored and wanted it was a feeling he cherished deeply when he was still sane from hunger. Unfortunately he couldn't stay sane forever, that same hunger grows ever stronger. His wife and daughter were worried and thought maybe he was ill so they bed ridden him for days, they've tried feeding him soup and giving him medicines but he would only respond aggressively. It couldn't be helped, it was nice while it lasted but HE NEEDS TO FEED. He revealed himself in front of his wife and daughter, the amount of shock and horror on their faces was in indescribable. At the last minute the wife told the daughter to run buying her time to escape. Without hesitation the daughter ran out the door, Pennywise tried to lunge at her preventing her escape but the wife threw herself in front and attacked her instead. Pennywise had her once beloved wife against the wall, he wanted to get a good look at her pretty scared face before he devoured her. He felt her fear but he also felt something else, his wife loved at him in the eyes he wondered how disgusted she was to have spent the last of her days with a monster. However, that was not the case. To Pennywise surprise she placed her hand on his deformed face and with her last breath she said "I loved you so much" those words will forever haunt Pennywise for the rest of eternity. So after she passed and Pennywise ate her whole. Meanwhile, outside the door and below the stairs still standed the daughter. She should've listened to her Mother and just escaped while she could but instead she got to hear Everything, from her Mother's screams to Pennywise consuming her. She was frozen in fear but she knew she had to get out of there now! She took one fatal step and the floors creeked, Pennywise became aware and the hunt was on. The daughter couldn't reach the exit in time, so she had to hide. She hid in the only place a scared little girl could think of when there's a monster trying to get her, only the monster is real. She locked the door and blocked it with a chair, she only had a little time, she needs to hid now! But where?! Without a second to spare so chose to hide in the closet, she hoped that all her clothes and stuffed toys would keep her well hidden. Pennywise broke down the door, he was giggling. To him this was just a fun game of hide and seek. "Where are you~" Pennywise sang in a childish voice. He looked behind the curtains. "Not here~" He looked underneath the bed. "Not here either~" He even looked inside the toy box "Where could you be?" There was nowhere else to look except the closet. Pennywise knew she was in there but he had one last trick up his sleeve. "Oh dear, it looks likes she's not here. Guess I better leave and look for her somewhere else!" And with that Pennywise marched out the room exaggerating his footsteps as he left until his foot steps could no longer be heard. The girl was still shaking but she peaked open the closet a little bit to see if he was really gone. She looked left and right he really wasn't there? Relieved the girl closed her eyes and took a deep breath, and that when she saw him staring back at her. "Peek-a-boo, I see you~" Screams of terror filled the room, blood stained the bedroom floor and walls. The girl's death was much more gruesome then that of her mother. When it was all over Pennywise sat there alone in the dark, savoring the last blood stains of what he once considered his daughter. The Hunger subsided but at what cost? The closes thing he had to a family and he killed them. Did she really mean it when she said that she loved him? So much had happened in one day but it was clear what he was now and what he's only capable of doing. Scared and Feed. The House that was once the home of a loving family is now Pennywise new nest for when he hibernates, and for many generations that same house has been left untouched with only rumors and ghost stories keeping it's reputation alive. And that Ladies and Gentlemen is my headcanon story about an AU where Pennywise had a family.

Perhaps he was infected with an unearthly parasite, or maybe the circus was a cover up for something malicious, and he was transformed into the shape shifting clown we all know today. His first feeding started with children visiting the circus, and then ended with his own family (you can imagine the details of their deaths) , and his story just continues from there
That would actually make sense...cause if you remember Pennywise's true form was intially a extradimensional being who embodied fear. What's to say that Pennywise's current and iconic clown form wasn't just a man's body that's being controlled and modified

Originally, Pennywise was an alien that was able to transform into your worst and darkest fears. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to turn into a human.
The way I see it is: He worked at the circus as a clown where he met his wife as one of the viewers and after getting to know her he fell in love with her and years later they had a daughter but the good times would not last. Years later After one of his performances there was a accident that turned him into a monster and he went on a rampage killing and devouring his family. But after it was done and he got his sanity back he went into depression and during his depression he wanted to kill himself but as he was about to do it "something" offered him a deal, "If you lure people away and devour them in my name I will reward you for every child eaten you will see your daughter and for every adult you will see your wife" So in desperation to see his family he went and hunted his victims but what he did not know is that what he saw was an illusion of his body instinctively craving food so it manipulated him to hunt.

Once she crashed on earth she made up a male clown character to pose as named pennywise so that she could eat children’s fears because she learned that humans were scared of clowns.

Maybe this could've been a better story to IT. Like Pennywise was once a father and a clown running an ongoing circus till one day, after humiliation and his whole career coming to an end, he snapped. (killed his wife and child: first kill) This would have been a better explanation behind the photo, and the monster that Beverly comes across with in IT 2, would maybe turn out to be his daughter's future self that had been unfortunately taken away by her father. And how Pennywise became the monster that he is now would be because he was making a deal with the devil or SOMETHING. But the movie series is already good as it is, with its remake of the old IT movies. This is only my opinion though!

After realizing that IT would return that same year, she started looking for him alone all over town until she found him close by on Neibolt Street. She simply pretended not to know who he really was, and unlike anyone else, she did not feel fear at Pennywise's appearance. This girl treated IT in an interested and curious way. IT felt something that he had never known in his entire existence, understanding and affection. This woman also had the same red hair color as Pennywise. It was the most perfect coincidence that could have happened to IT, and also an opportunity to experience something more than just being a shape-shifting parasite that feeds on fear. For months, IT assumed the role of a human, and no one in public was alarmed due to his shape-shifting power and knowledge of human nature after so many years. IT slowly abandoned his "man-eating" nature and adopted a human lifestyle. The girl would invite the clown to dinner and introduce him to her parents, who he would hide under the name Pennywise, based on his appearance, Bob Gray. IT replaced the name Bob with Scott, thus becoming Scott Gray. IT, somewhat confused and cautious, accepted. At dinner, IT introduced himself as Scott Gray, the son of a circus couple. He quickly made up being a party entertainer and the star of his own clown show, with the name Pennywise, the dancing clown. After a long conversation with the girl's parents, they began to trust him, and IT was getting used to it. During dinner, the girl's mother served a beef stew, and the clown tried the food slightly disgusted, but ending up pleased and somewhat surprised by the good taste. The internal battle was intense, until Scott Gray finally managed to overcome IT. Finally, Scott accepted a job as a clown and every day he "disguised" (transformed) himself as Pennywise and entertained small or large crowds with his performance, even traveling outside of Derry to do more shows. He often used his illusion powers to perform magic tricks, leaving people amazed. He bought a house where he lived a completely human life, even when no one saw him. Slowly, he forgot what he really was. He had become routine to visit that redhead girl, with whom he had started a romantic relationship. He spent time with his father-in-law, whom he helped with his work. The new IT, now Scott, felt adored and desired, a feeling that he deeply appreciated when he was still sane due to hunger. He did not hibernate again when 1982 ended, nor did he feed on fear. After a year and a half, Scott decided to propose to his beloved. She accepted, and they had a happy wedding, followed by a honeymoon where Penny would discover something deeper in the human world... On their wedding night, Pennywise discovered certain reproductive acts, and in a somewhat clumsy way, adapted and became enjoyable for him, so much so that they would end up conceiving a new being... Originally, Pennywise was an alien that was able to transform into your worst and darkest fears. So I wouldn’t be surprised if he was able to turn into a human.

Hey just met an introvert and was able to turn into a human
Who else has watched this over 50 times
The way I see it is:
He worked at the circus as a clown where he met his wife as one of the viewers and after getting to know her he fell in love with her and years later they had a daughter but the good times would not last.
Years later After one of his performances there was a accident that turned him into a monster and he went on a rampage killing and devouring his family.
But after it was done and he got his sanity back he went into depression and during his depression he wanted to kill himself but as he was about to do it "something" offered him a deal,
"If you lure people away and devour them in my name I will reward you for every child eaten you will see your daughter and for every adult you will see your wife"
So in desperation to see his family he went and hunted his victims but what he did not know is that what he saw was an illusion of his body instinctively craving food so it manipulated him to hunt.

Once she crashed on earth she made up a male clown character to pose as named pennywise so that she could eat children’s fears because she learned that humans were scared of clowns.

Maybe this could've been a better story to IT.
Like Pennywise was once a father and a clown running an ongoing circus till one day, after humiliation and his whole career coming to an end, he snapped. (killed his wife and child: first kill)
This would have been a better explanation behind the photo, and the monster that Beverly comes across with in IT 2, would maybe turn out to be his daughter's future self that had been unfortunately taken away by her father.
And how Pennywise became the monster that he is now would be because he was making a deal with the devil or SOMETHING.
But the movie series is already good as it is, with its remake of the old IT movies.
This is only my opinion though!

July 8, 1982 What would happen if at some point Pennywise felt curious about humanity and decided to transform into a human to fit in more and learn from people? Finally, he met a young woman who found his child-like curiosity endearing and enjoyed his company.
This young woman, who was called a "phenomenon" in her school, a girl with no friends because she had a certain interest in mystery and horror. A rather lonely girl. This girl named Clara Thompson had investigated the disappearances that had occurred throughout the history of Derry. This girl found out what happened 27 years ago with the losers club. When she discovered the creature that inhabited her town, she began to feel more and more interested. After realizing that IT would return that same year, she started looking for him alone all over town until she found him close by on Neibolt Street. She simply pretended not to know who he really was, and unlike anyone else, she did not feel fear at Pennywise's appearance. This girl treated IT in an interested and curious way. IT felt something that he had never known in his entire existence, understanding and affection. This woman also had the same red hair color as Pennywise. It was the most perfect coincidence that could have happened to IT, and also an opportunity to experience something more than just being a shape-shifting parasite that feeds on fear.
For months, IT assumed the role of a human, and no one in public was alarmed due to his shape-shifting power and knowledge of human nature after so many years. IT slowly abandoned his "man-eating" nature and adopted a human lifestyle. The girl would invite the clown to dinner and introduce him to her parents, who he would hide under the name Pennywise, based on his appearance, Bob Gray. IT replaced the name Bob with Scott, thus becoming Scott Gray. IT, somewhat confused and cautious, accepted. At dinner, IT introduced himself as Scott Gray, the son of a circus couple. He quickly made up being a party entertainer and the star of his own clown show, with the name Pennywise, the dancing clown.
After a long conversation with the girl's parents, they began to trust him, and IT was getting used to it. During dinner, the girl's mother served a beef stew, and the clown tried the food slightly disgusted, but ending up pleased and somewhat surprised by the good taste. Months passed, and little by little, Scott and that young woman spent more time together. The clown began to understand humans and their way of life, and even started writing a diary about what human life was like for him and how he resisted his urges. Our protagonist was extremely confused, a voice inside him told him that this was not for him, a desire to return to being the devourer of fear emerged within him, but another part of him contemplated the opposite and even considered abandoning and forgetting his true nature. The internal battle was intense, until Scott Gray finally managed to overcome IT.
Finally, Scott accepted a job as a clown and every day he "disguised" (transformed) himself as Pennywise and entertained small or large crowds with his performance, even traveling outside of Derry to do more shows. He often used his illusion powers to perform magic tricks, leaving people amazed. He bought a house where he lived a completely human life, even when no one saw him. Slowly, he forgot what he really was. He had become routine to visit that redhead girl, with whom he had started a romantic relationship. He spent time with his father-in-law, whom he helped with his work.
The new IT, now Scott, felt adored and desired, a feeling that he deeply appreciated when he was still sane due to hunger. He did not hibernate again when 1982 ended, nor did he feed on fear. After a year and a half, Scott decided to propose to his beloved. She accepted, and they had a happy wedding, followed by a honeymoon where Penny would discover something deeper in the human world...
On their wedding night, Pennywise discovered certain reproductive acts, and in a somewhat clumsy way, adapted and became enjoyable for him, so much so that they would end up conceiving a new being...
