The Super Vision paints are so much fun! I have a set of 10 pans rather than tubes, but eventually plan to get some tubes. They work best with very textured paper and lots of water. It's my understanding that they aren't at all lightfast, so if you sell your work you should only sell prints.
Love the QOR set you bought. I have the CSI paints-bought them because I loved the tin design. Have heard of supervision, but have not tried them. Most interested in your review of supervision paints, but CSI and gen arts will be great too. Love QOR, but I like your approach to testing out new art materials, so I will be taking in your QOR review. Thank you for all your effort, Ashley. Much appreciated!
Csy does good with their presentation. But that's where it stops, unfortunately. I have tried so hard to work them, both their Metallics and Matte colors and they are just something different and not good. Maybe you'll have a different experience so please let me know if you do like them....

I bought a specialty supervision palette that was wood and metal- hard to explain- originally was $20- shot up tp $80 and discontinued. I liked it. Ppl say its a Phoenix or something white label. I have it away to a small youtuber that will hopefully do a video someday. Unique palette.
I get a little suspicious with handmade brands that are sold on Amazon-so many handmade watercolors can be found on sites like Etsy or even have their own website- but I did a little digging on CSY watercolors and found that the country of origin is Germany- they don't have a website of their own as far as I could find, but they are also sold on Ebay. Curious to see what you think of them!
Stay away from them if you can help it. They're not well made at all. I found out the hard way with CSY and their Metallics and Mineral Watercolors. Awful... just awful. But that's just my experience.
I don’t know how you got that Qor on discount. I remember an older video of yours too where you got Qor so cheap. The watercolour Qor fairies must be with you. I have been watching that Qor like a hawk ,Black Friday , cyber Monday no shift in price 🤦🏽♀️. You got Supervision on Amazon ? thought it was only on Aliexpress. You have Amazon super powers 🤣
I absolutely hated the gen crafts watercolor they were awful!!!! I put them in pans and they dried into little hard balls that just fell out of the pans
I discovered a while ago that student quality tube paints should stay in the tube. I’ve had some success transferring certain brands into pans but only when mixed with glycerin, honey, gum Arabic and clove oil. It turned out to be too laborious to bother.

Since then I’ve curated a gorgeous 77 full pan box set full of mainly Daniel Smith and Roman Szmal and a few other professional brands. If you haven’t tried Roman Szmal, you really should. They are gorgeous and not as expensive as some. Happy watercolouring! 🌻
