hi, can i just check that if i use the second method and add them as a second main artist, will it appear on his "featured on" section and not his main discography
All my collaborations are with other main artists i need to change my network and im thinking to tunecore. Is it possible to upload a multiple songs with 2 main artists in tunecore? They are people with their artist profile in their distributor but we do this to increase listeners (Distrokid 4 example can but only on albums not on singles idk why)
Hey man, tried the main artist method and Tunecore got confused and kinda delay the release and got me to release it with the second method with the featured artist instead even though I wanted the first method of the main artist so the song can pop up on both pages?
Hey, so when you release your first song Tunecore will create your own Spotify and Apple music pages for you. If you and your co-creator have Artist names that are really common your first releases might end up on other artist pages. You have some options, you can do a 'dummy' release and delete, this will make the artist pages and then you can do your 'real' release' or you can just go through with it and trust Tunecore will make original artist pages, if your music ends up on somebody's else's page then just contact Tunecore and they will correct.
If I'm putting out a remix, how do I connect the artist's page and my page to the song??? Do I really have to pay extra just to add another main artist?
Hey thanks for reaching out. Initially i would select the 'Breakout Artist' plan, it's $30 a year. Then when uploading to Tunecore simply select yourself as the 'Main Artist' and then select the 'Add Artist' button. Select your collaborator profile from the drop down menu and you should be good.
@@Uploadmgr Where do get this opportunity? When I type in the featured artist in the editor (first method), I just can choose his role and type in his name, but not the artist's spotify page :(.
Bro the artist I featured on one of my songs has distrokid and as I set the release for our song he said that he usually gets tagged before the music is released but he has not yet. Does he get tagged when the music drops? Please help me out thank you
hey if he has distrokid its a different email alert than tunecore. But as far as the song release, if you have his correct profile tagged he should maybe see an alert through spotify for artist if not when the release is live make sure you linked his correct profile.
@@KYRRA_DnB is there a way if you're remixing a song to list the original artist as the main artist and then put yourself as the remixer and you will still both show up as the artists on spotify links under the song?
@@mistafyremusic I think it was the same way, you just need to put the original artist name and the remixer as a main artist, but you need to put like "(Ex Remix)" on the title
@@KYRRA_DnB thanks. from what I've gathered, it seems like the track won't show up on the top of each artist's page unless both artists are the Main Artist which is pretty lame cause it costs more. But I guess if they're featured it will show up on "appears on." I assume then the featured or remixer won't show up on the artists under the song player. I guess I will just have to test the theory today. Gonna check out your DnB btw :)
Thanks bro was looking for an answer to this for a while now. Respect

Hey I can’t find the second option to just add the feature without being the main artist. Can you please help me?
If I add a featured artist in the first method, will the name still apear under the song title, or it will show only in the Credits field?

And how spotify tracks the feature artist if you use the first method and not link the profile?
Exactly its better to just make the feature a main artist so its accurate
you will have an opportunity to enter in the artist's spotify page.but yes better to feature the artist as main

Did you have to pay for each featured artist in order to use this feature? I’m assuming you got the pro version
you pay if you choose to put the another artist be the Main Artist

Hello, Can we add two main artists in Rising artist plan(14.99$)? Like want the song to appear on both artist Spotify pages
hello, it seems tunecore is charging $14.99 per Artist you add, per year.
