Im feeling ssu, the directors actually arrange for the size of their band instead of tryna play arrangements for a real big band and then sounding empty so big props ssu keep it up yall!!!!

SSU great sound, remind me when I played for UDC (University of D.C) before going to A&T. Both bands where balanced. I truly enjoyed that. I loved that not one band was over blowing!!!!!!! I was able to truly enjoy the music as well. I also noticed that A&T has 10 rows of woodwinds and the brass section is actually an average size band. A&T is woodwind heavy, which I believe accounts for the ballad sound.
Great job by both! Both sound amazing! I would honestly say tie only because they’re both clean with every selection. Size doesn’t matter in this one. I’m an Aggie and always enjoyed playing against these guys .
I like Gin & Juice better than the whole 5th qtr book! lol now just waiting to see a 300 piece band next season..
