Janice, this is really why a well stocked pantry is so important, ya can’t change mother nature but ya can make sure you don’t need to be out with the people thinking the world is ending give me all the toilet paper. This past hurricane season, I am in south Florida, because I kept my pantry full and stocked my freezer with on sale meats and such, I never went without. Stay warm and healthy.
Man, you are totally awesome when it comes to studying the grocery ads. Thank you for sharing, Janice. We have to go for groceries this afternoon, after hubby gets off work. What I love about where we get our groceries is that we can get our medication while we are picking up our groceries.
Happy New Year Janice and Family ❤ the Winter Storm is coming we went to Aldi on Wednesday only bought what we needed, absolutely love the Organic Grass Fed and Finished 85/15 Ground Beef for $5.29 bought 5 one pound pkgs. The taste is out of this world ❤
This is my very favorite part of your channel and it has helped me really learn what a good sale is. Even though we don't have 10 Box, it helps with knowing what a good price is.
Janice you have helped me so much I just started watching your channel last year and I was never a person to go from store to store to get the best deal I would just buy from one store now I'm clipping coupons I'm using the digital coupons inside the store I'm doing all the things so I really appreciate all that you do to help us to save money and to get the best deal.
So glad to see you this morning! Also so glad to see sales. So many times I miss the best deals. Thank you for continuing this type of show. Also love the what we eat in a week. I plan on mollys chicken to see if we like it.
Once again my most precious, Janice is the reason people flock to your channel: your informative, personable, abundant smile and you accept us where we are. Like those of us who simply don’t have the hardware in the brain the plan brilliantly for me, pantry items and keeping it all on an amazing budget, you remain a pivotal part in guiding our grocery bill so we don’t end up living under a freeway bridge. ❤❤❤🎁🎁🎁🙏🙏🙏😇😇😇👋👋👋
Good Afternoon Janice and Friends.. We got a light snow last night but by the time I got ready to go to the store the roads were clear. The only deals I really found at Krogers was they had a few toys left over from Christmas got a big school bus and some kind of dumpster truck marked down to $5.10 each ( these will go in my gift box for upcoming little boys birthday gifts). I did buy 2 ten pound bags of chicken leg quarters 7.99 each which I will boil and Can up. And 3 pounds of turkey burgers I did have a coupon for that pack not much 75 cents off Wahoo lol but since it's something I planned to buy anyway it's good. Aldi's Ads were a flop here this week nothing special so I skipped it. Oh and Krogers had a Bonus coupon for me for free dozen eggs so though I didn't need them free is good. Anna In Ohioo
Thank you Janice enjoy watching you while I eat breakfast here in Australia. I do most of my shopping at Woolworths, we also have a Coles and Aldi all on the smaller side can travel 20min to Foodland but they are usually dearer. My daughter lives near a foodland and will purchase the odd thing we can't get here. I will go coles and Aldi, shared carpark for things I can't get at Woolies, as I get older I appreciate knowing where things are and not having to search as I have to in larger stores in other towns. There is only the two of us now so much smaller shopping hauls. As foster parents of over 70 children over 30 years (not all at once), some times 3 trollies needed even with our own fruit and veg. My goal is to gety shopping to under $100 a week, but usually more like $150, even with own fruit and veg. Garden not so good this year, we were hit with severe frosts at flowering of fruit trees and very dry. Blessings to you all and Happy Birthday to one very special little girl🎉❤
Nice haul of sale items. Aldi's has the Peelz navel oranges for $2.99 a bag. They are delicious. I scored a few packages of the Organic Grass fed ground beef for 50% off and 2 packages of the Grass fed organic deli ham. They finally got the knock your socks off Sprouted bread back in which is all I pretty much eat for bread other than sour dough. Aldi's has the single origin coffee beans which are wonderful for $5.99 a bag. I've been stocking up on them as they are not always easy to find. I grind enough for the week and leave the rest whole. It made my day.
Aldi had a significant amount of meat with 50% off stickers on it when I went yesterday. I wanted to post a picture but it won’t let me. I got steaks, chicken breasts, fresh salmon and 96% ground beef all for 50% off
Good morning and Happy New Year! So happy to see this video this morning. You inspire me to do better with my shopping and I have learned so much from your videos.
I absolutely love the bag salads! I go to Walmart early in the mornings and can usually find them on mark down! We love them, add some chicken and boom a full meal for us!!
Praying for you! Been there done that. When the nurse practitioner say "I haven't seen a case that bad" I'm not sure if that was supposed to help, lol, but it didn't. Please take care.
Good morning and Happy New Year. So happy to see your video this morning. You inspire me to be a better shopper, I have learned a lot from you and have saved money. Thank you for all you do.
I have done my shopping and menu in reverse for years, my family was never picky so I just made our menu around what I found at the store or already have. Love you and your family. We are in NE Central Kansas and we are about to get hit with the storm, but I'm ready, the creamers were low in our store also. ❤❤❤
Great deals! You do an amazing job !!! Loved the video! Been sick and haven’t been out of the house since 2 wks before Christmas! So thank goodness we had what we needed!! Missed spending time with my family. But I live with my daughter so I wasn’t alone! God bless you and your family!!!
Janice, I don't know if you have a Meijer there or have ever heard of it, but they had a 5 lb bag of gold potatoes for $1.99. I thought that was a great deal.
I went to Kroger this morning. I had lots of trouble with the app and trying to clip coupons. I got lettuce mixes on mark down to do my own salads and there were three bananas on mark down. I saved lots with sales and coupons. Lots of sickness in northern Indiana, including us. I thought my cold was getting better but I turned worse yesterday. Grandchildren mostly over their walking pneumonia. I don't care for marmalade, but I hope you enjoy it.
Janice happy new year. Love how you help us with your sale ads. It really helps since I have retired. A how you use up the left overs and no waste. Take care of your health. God bless
Janice, you are wonderful. I look forward to seeing your content and your budgeting skills. I am retired now but not too old to learn. I don’t often comment but I love seeing your prices compared to what we pay in Australia. Happy new year.
I also buy than plan. Unless I have a party or people coming over after church, I don't plan. There is only two so that's different than most. We seldom go out or delivery, always lived in country and pizza was cold when we got it or didn't deliver that far 😅 I've always had a good pantry and enjoyed just figuring it out. Nothing home grown and no farm butcher meat.. When we were struggling to make ends meat it was almost more interesting to me to come to the challenge 😮. Being from Minnesota " hot dish and soup was a go to. Still love them 😄 With your canning, freezing, drying and own eggs and produce, you could almost not need the grocery store.😅
I was thrilled to be able to get to a Kroger yesterday. I spent just under $40 and come home with tons of discounts! I also stopped at the Walmart and People were coughing everywhere- got way to people-y for me that I just grabbed what I had to have and left. We are just on the edge of the ice storm that's coming. Hoping yours and my power stays on :)
I’ve been bragging 😢on how little I’m paying for a dozen eggs here in town. Usually $2.89-4.29. Went to the store yesterday and the average price was $8.99-9.98 a dozen. That’ll teach me. 😅Needless to say, we’ll do without them if we have to. Cooking up some pintos will give us the same protein.
We are going into an artic cold/freeze up here in North Central Iowa. I'm pretty well stocked but I needed a few things from Walmart so I'm going to put in an order to pick up tomorrow. I usually like picking out my own groceries but I'm sitting here with bronchitis. I don't want to spread it at all to anyone. So by picking it up, I won't be around anyone. I can't wrap my mind around buying food for 9, I have done food for 5 but with the prices now you would really have to be up on your game and with home schooling we are talking 3 meals a day. I picked up a few things at a grocery store that is about 9 miles away They did have a 3 day sale on ground chuck (87%) lean it was $3.46 a pound in a 10 lb roll, and I didn't know if I felt up to dividing and vacuum sealing it all in 1 lb packages, on the way home I was kicking myself for not getting 1 or 2 as ground chuck not on sale is $4.99 lb and more at walmart. Stay safe during our MO weather event, it does look like you will get some of it. Where I live they really don't know if or what we will get it is always that way we either get more than others or none at all when 5 miles away they get hit really bad.
Our local stores here (st. Francois county) clearance out meats produce bakery etc every morning around 7. I find some great deals!!! Today it's a mad house due to upcoming storm! Just crazy but we are stocked with food for us, cat food, and dog food so bring it on!

A dozen eggs where I am in California is $7.50 at walmart right now. So I haven't had eggs in a while.
Just to say the oranges they use for marmalade are not the same type but I guess it could work well. They usually use Saville orangess for marmalades are. They are very bitter . I’d try with a small batch first to see if it works. I wish we had potatoes like yours here in Ireland the russets look lovely.

Hi Janice,Happy New Year. I love your videos. I love saving money on food. Thanks for sharing.
Gelukkig Nieuwjaar voor jullie 🌟🌟en gefeliciteerd 🥳🎉met jullie dochter was weer een leuke vlog 👍👍
Eggs are outrageous here in Las Vegas the cheapest I’ve come across is $7.88 a dozen at Walmart for the store brand.
The first of the month is when retirees receive their checks and also public assistance money comes at that time too. I think that’s why town was so busy.
No apologies. I don't shop like you but always want to know what's out there 🎉
Thanks
Happy late new year
Hi Janice. Here in KCMO, they're saying we're going to get anywhere from 2-13" with ice. I'm not ready at all for this mess. I'm getting out tomorrow, so hopefully, I don't have too many issues.
