What Happened to Jamie Soward? He came, he saw, he kicked arse. He racked up a shit-tonne of points, he played plenty of finals, he won a premiership, he settled in to a solid coaching role. Many more celebrated players did way less and just disappeared. Legend.

As soon as I heard Maloney was moving to Cronulla I went and backed them for the premiership. About the best bet I ever made.

Loved this guy. Played way above his weight. His 3 tackles on Greg Ingles in State of origin were amazing. No wonder he picked up so many injuries. Fearless. 🐟

Was a fantastic kicker at goal and in general play and can say as a Dragon life long fan Sowi was an absolute champion and was gutted when he left

One of the best players ever in his prime as a Dragons fan we wouldn’t have won the comp in 2010 without Soward with Rangi Chase instead no disrepect to Chase just believe Soward was a better player without a doubt

bro can you do a video on jordan kahu? i grew up with him, always thought he was gna be an all black. i think he had some injurys before he played his first nrl game and kinda flew under the radar for most of his nrl career probably due to those.
i reckon he would have been a star in the nrl had he never got injured. oh also i think he was playing on the wing alot of the time but he was naturally a full back. atleast in rugby he was.

I remember one Sat he was our netball association, Wyong watching his girlfriend's niece play. A coach of one of the Wyong rep coach as well as a St George fan went up & asked him for an autograph. This was before the NSW state of origin side had been selected, publicly anyway. He autographed the netball with his name & wrote underneath it *NSW number 6*. As i said this was a Sat morn & the team was announced on the Sunday night. So i dunno whether he'd been told already he was in the side or he was just that arrogant which i believe was the latter. I could never stand him & reminded me of a Craig Field type player that would absolutely blast the team after a try is scored against him. I'd imagine he doesn't have many mates & i don't think he ever had any mates during his playing career let alone any mates at clubland or repland.

Jamie was a confidence player. Wayne Bennett believed in him and he absolutely killed it. He is the reason that a kick dead is now a 7 tackle, quick tap set. As soon as Wayne left and Dragons had that weak chinned loser Steve Price at the helm his form dived along with the team. Flanagan now trying to change the culture of mediocrity that set in at that time and continued through Mary and Hook.
