Honestly i really love the gta 4 physics in rdr when you shoot someone. Its so fun when a train runs someone over or when you shoot your own horse when going at top speed but sadly some of those little things that made the first game special are absent in 2
Tbh the rag dolls in RDR2 is way better, especially with the gore system. I’ve seen enough people getting dropped by bullets, rdr2 does it better and way more satisfying
@@stuglife5514 They both use the same euphoria engine. RDR1 has more dynamic ragdolls and NPCs will stumble way more after getting shot. You can also knee cap them and do an execution animation which is absent from RDR2. RDR2 has stiff worse ragdolls. NPCs will either just drop dead or shake their arms around before dropping. It might be more realistic but it’s just boring. RDR2 corpses will also lay in the same positions after dropping which can make shootouts less dynamic.

Ok ok so listen guys I just did this side quest in rdr2 and 3 guys started attacking me, last guy had a knife so I pulled out my machete and stabbed em, it killed em but it was self deffense. I got chased by the police for like 5 mins. I even had to revive my horse at one point!
Explosive rifling horses with unlimited ammo, unlimited dead eye, and invincibility to watch the riders flung to the ground is second only to falling down at the same angle as a relatively gradual slope. This game is *wild.*
