would take us all to the beach!
Mom knew the treat to bring
along! Sugar daddy suckers!
A caramel thick, hard, long
sucker on a stick! If we dropped
it, we could just rinse it off in the
lake! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Mom would sit on the beach
and count heads in the lake…
1…2…3…4…5…then again…
1…2…3…4…5… to keep
track of all of us! 🤣🤣🤣 Afterwards,
we would go and get an ice cream
at Abbot’s! (Famous ice cream
stand in Rochester, NY!)

What an immensely charming, loving, good-hearted family. In all of the hurly burly of normalcy -- kids running around, chores, childrearing, lessons, play -- I cannot but realize that I am looking at real American greatness, the Beloved Country: it's in the myriad and million moments and details, all bound together and given meaning via love. Glory, and nothing but.
Vacations are not really vacations for parents.
We just parent in a different setting and spend more money and let the kids each junk 🤣. But the memories…so worth it.
I love how the kids were all very cognizant of their budget on the souvenir shop. Tiger’s face when you told her you would buy one thing so she still got to pick something to buy herself was so sweet. Beautiful family, love your realness. (To me, sand is nature’s glitter. Neither one are necessary.)

I live close by Jacksonville, FL and its always windy at the beach. We get lots of wind surfing, hope you see people doing it.
I think it’s so cute that you dress all three of the girls the same…… I think it was important to show Tiger inclusion by doing this….. I also believe it’s important for her to always share a room with one of the biological girls…. Being a former foster parent I believe this is very important for her internally. Miss Teena 🫶🏼

I just realized that if you switch Cow and the baby’s age, and the twins were actual birth twins, you have the pattern of kids that I want! I have been dreaming and planning out their names for a while now lol. Boy, twin girl, boy, girl. Love your family!!

I live in NJ and grew up at the Jersey shore so I love the beach and everything that comes with it! Your kids are well behaved, they're beautiful 😍. I have a question and absolutely mean no disrespect at but I am curious. Why are the children named after animals? Just wondering 🤔. God bless you all. 🥰🥰🥰🥰

Your family is beautiful and I am with you, I don’t like the beach either..I don’t like the sand on my body and the water is not for me either..Just to view the area is enough for me but the kids always like to go do bring good parents we always made the trips..💕to you and your family..

You're saints to take the kids to the beach. I'm with you - I hate the beach.
Might be a too personal question but I was wondering if the names given to the kids are fake names to protect them or are those the kids real names?
There fake names they answered similar questions on tik tok!
"I'm still finding sand where there shouldn't be sand." lol don't ya just HATE that?!
FYI, don't ever go in the water near Cape Hatteras, NC. It's definitely worth visiting, but the surf is dangerously strong. It would be too rough for the children. I only bring it up because I was quite literally digging tiny pieces of shell out of my skin weeks later. 🤔 It made a memory though. 😏
Next time you're in Tybee, you need to go to the Crab Shack. I definitely suggest eating outside under the trees. Have a talk with the kiddos first though. Explain how much they'll want to feed the many, many, oh so many cats walking around but how it's just not sanitary to feed them and themselves at the same time, no matter how much they beg. 🫢yuck! It sounds gross, but it's actually a fun place!
I feel like I finally got most of the sand out of the van at this point 🤣 Thank you for the tips! We will keep them in mind!
