Strange, my buttons don’t rattle when the phone is in the case. The only rattle I get is from the OIS module in the camera which is normal from smartphones.
Ive written this several times about caudabe sheath cases. I've had two one purple and one grey. Without using magsafe of qi chargers a d just using regular chargers borh of them have gotten raised backs and it's like a big bump around the magsafe ring. Never seen that in any case before and that's why I'm never picking one up again.
Which model phone was that for? I know there was an issue last year with the Sheath and the Magsafe ring but it was quickly fixed with a new version. Did you contact Caudabe about it?
Hey! That shouldn’t be happening noticeably under normal usage. Shoot our support team an email and we’d be happy to help. We do know that with early batches of the 15 series Sheaths, this was more of an issue. But under normal usage, more recent Sheaths should not be experiencing major, if any, issues in this respect. Feel free to give Sheath another shot!
Caudabe Sheath has always been one of the best cases to get! But since iPhone 14 series onwards, they made the back a bit too thick. I guess they needed to do that for stronger magnets, but I wish the back was slimmer.
@@MichaelsTechTalk Yeah it's still nice and slim overall. Still one of my favourite cases to get. But the back is thick now. It's the most apparent when looking at the side with volume buttons. Slim cases will have the volume buttons more centered rather than appearing very asymmetrical.
Hey there! We see this comment the most from people who knew the Sheath several years ago when many complained that it was too thin and therefore not protective enough. After we revamped it with MagSafe, we’ve received overwhelmingly positive feedback on how much people like the enhanced drop protection and just generally how solid the case feels. What we usually suggest to people transitioning from older Sheaths is to use the case for a couple of weeks. You’ll soon find that the marginal increase in thickness will be a non-issue. After all, the change was literally just a fraction of a millimeter! Thanks for your support and your feedback!
Instead of fixing the terrible camera button cutout, Caudabe seems to have gone on an paid review advertising frenzy. THIS CASE SUCKS WITH THE CAMERA CUTOUT. It is barely usable with this case. Shame on Caudabe for refusing to fix its cases.
No I have not been paid for this review, it would have been stated in the video otherwise as per RUclips’s terms of service. Also, even in paid collaborations, my reviews are always honest. As I showed in the video, I am able to access the button with no issues. Sorry that you have had issues but I haven’t had any.
Hey there! Thanks for the feedback. We’ve seen you post the same comment on multiple videos across RUclips about our cases, so we hear you! It sounds like our Support team has also taken care of your order, but feel free to let them know if that's not the case. They're happy to help. We also thought it might be helpful to provide some background on our Camera Control cutout for you. We’ve been overwhelmed by the number of awesome comments from customers about how easy our cutout is to use without requiring a huge, gaping hole like on some other cases. Our design team went through 20 different prototypes of the cutout to strike the right balance between usability and aesthetics. As you've probably seen, many cases have extremely large cutouts that sometimes leave a sizable portion of the phone unprotected. It was a point of emphasis for us to design a cutout that was still super easy to use without being overly large. If you look closely at the cutout on your Caudabe case, you'll notice that it has a pretty big slope near the back of the case to provide a larger surface area for your finger to access the Camera Control button. We tested this area with all types of fingers - skinny, fat, long, short, slighty pudgy, calloused, etc. You name it, we tested it. We find that what helps is to remember that the big slope on one side of the cutout is to assist your finger in accessing the button, and you don't actually need to fit your whole finger in the cutout to operate the button. With this in mind, it should be super easy to use. Swiping, light press, hard press, etc. All those actions should be really accessible. That said, we understand that this has been a hot topic for some this year, and that everyone has different preferences so we’re glad you could take advantage of our return policy and receive a refund for the product. As for your comment about reviews and advertising, we want to be super clear: we never tell any creators how they should or shouldn't review our products. Michael is a fantastic creator and we sent him these cases for his review, but he's always been free to share his honest opinions about them, as are all those who try our cases - just like you’re doing right now! We’re constantly refining our products, so we genuinely appreciate feedback like this. Hope that provides some helpful insight for you. Hope to see you back in the future!
@@getcaudabe With all due respect, but a cutout is always going to be inferior to a proper camera button, besides functionality, it's very akward to hold your phone when one finger dips on the side, it's not comfortable and it's why I went with an apple silicone case despite their bad durability

is it the same blue as last year? Because it looks bluer
Got mine the day after your video went up! Couldn't be happier. The texture is amazing and they really nailed the metal buttons. A+ case.
Nice!!!!
I went with the Blue this year for my 16 Pro Max, love the blue and black look
Nice!!!
love my sheath!! great video michael
The best!
Synthesis is top notch as well. Buy both!
Synthesis review is coming soon.
the blue looks stunning when combined with a 16 pro titanium white
🔥
Best allround case there is! Hope they bring out the green version as well.
Would be nice!!
Are the buttons supposed to rattle? Cause mine does

How is the grip on the back
The texture is the same across the entire case. Grippy, doesn’t show fingerprints and hard wearing.
@@MichaelsTechTalk thanks, that sounds good. Trying to find it here in Europe..

I had the exact same issue with my iPhone 15 Pro case. It was really disappointing, especially for the price which Caudabe sell their products at!

I get a Sheath every year and I've never had that with mine.
Nice video at least Caudabe is consistent with the weight not like others and that blue is cool 😎 thanks Michael as always 😊
You got that right!
I thought I try the Paragon this time
Can you recommend a good screen protector
Currently using the Paragon at the minute.. review coming later this week 👀
@@MichaelsTechTalk what is it like? Thicker thinner?
Why does Caudabe not make camera cutouts on the iPhone cases like on Samsung?
Because the iPhone has a raised camera bump and the Samsung doesn't?
These look awesome
As always!! 🔥
