Thanks Rahi, Are you (or any of your readers) aware of any Android version that will show the clock on every screen regardless of which app is on screen? I know most apps allow drag down to reveal a clock, but it is too small and short-lived to be any use while driving. Alternatively is there a way to access the code to make changes myself (after I learn Android of course!). I know there are small user-changes available in the system (eg basic font sizes of small and a bit larger) but nothing really useful. Whoever codes these head units hasn't really considered the needs of the driver very well. Perhaps there's a better version out there? Thanks for the great video by the way.

As a note, most Android Headunit manufacturers will not provide any firmware updates and if you get firmware from the manfacturer it will be the same as what you had before. Any firmware you download, including the steps in this video, are likely to introduce malware that wants to phone home all the time and steal your data. As an additional note, do not think Firmware will make your system faster. It may fix bugs and add features, but if your head unit is laggy, any upgrades will make the lag a lot worse.

Hi, Can you please help me on how to update my Nissan Qashquai HU (it's a QuadCore-R16 1.6G, Android 4.4.2, MCU version 5.3.19-11-71-453101-170323), I set lately the reset factory and now cannot use any application, google play doesn't seem to work, impossible to update the HU by itself! installing apps drives the HU to crash everytime I try! and then come back to reset fctory. You can try reinstalling the software once again. I can see they have uploaded android 9.1 and android 8.1 both software. Try 9.1 foreign language first if it does not work, Try 8.1 foreign language. Check my video to find the right software for your android stereo. Make sure it should be horizontal and screen resolution should also be same.
You can not downgrade. You can download the new English version from the site and upgrade it once again. There is an option to add English language, I will try to make a video on it. However still you need to upgrade to English version as most the google app will not work on Chinese version.

Yes try re formatting it NTFS/FAT. Copy the entire zip file in the USB. Make sure your USB is detected, check this by installing any file explorer app.

You can not downgrade. You can download the new English version from the site and upgrade it once again.
