  • Animation of PLCC - Power Line Carrier Communication how does it work in a power system. It is used as a means of communication between electrical substations and it uses the same electrical conductors which connects the substations. It has so many advantages than using separate telephone line for the communication purpose.
    • PLCC reduces extra cost for laying separate telephone line
    • separate telephone line undergoes interference due to parallel
    running power carrying overhead conductors
    • Beyond telephone connectivity PLCC provide other important
    features like it carry DC signal and proved telemetry service
    which is also important part of power system
