Thanks for the video. I grade papers while your videos play in the background. I even discuss your videos in class on occasions. I like talking about small family businesses. I am thinking about going to the Paul Bunyan show this year. I have been threatening to the past several years. I may just have to take time and go this year.
@@judyriggins1936 I teach in a jobs training program. I am teaching 11th and 12th graders to work in the local factories. I try to focus on local industries and their needs. There are numerous small sawmills in the area. There are also pallet manufacturers as well. The auto industry uses a lot of pallets. My students are exposed to the different skilled trades that are needed in the area. The class is a partnership with local high schools and the local community college. It is a lot of fun to teach. I ran my own small family business for more than 23 years. I understand the need to have the family helping any way they can. I had a machine shop. My kids helped count and package parts every night after school. That was a normal chore for them. It is fun to watch your family grow and learn to work along side you. They will cherish those memories for life. Thanks for the great videos. Alan

Shorts and sneakers in a sawmill? ....there's someone who's never had a heavy piece of wood land on their foot or ankle
