Well done Sluicers, that is a great nugget plus you've got more very good gold nugs and flakes. I suppose we'll see you doing a bit more crevicing in future vids (ha ha). We use plastic commercial cleaning gloves that come up to your armpits (warm gloves underneath) to beat the cold water down south. (But then we are pretty soft north islanders.) Looking forward to your next vid fellas.

Only if you spend tens of thousands of $ and go through the painstakingly difficult process to get a claim, you are then able to use a dredge on that set area of claimed river (for example this site in the video). Cheers

@@dataglasses Cheers, yeah it is solid, although the restrictions around getting the permit are absoluetly insane, like I could never dream of getting a claim for one as I am now. Like as a general member of the public you can only use handheld tools (so not highbankers) only in a very few set areas, if you want to use anything more or go anywhere else its the $20000+ claim.

Well that is sorta the point of the video if I didn’t talk the viewer would have no idea what is going on etc and I wouldn’t be able to explain things and say how we are going what the gold is like our reactions etc. I do have a few more time lapse like videos where it focuses a lot more on just us mining and digging rather then commentary (Such as Some of our biggest gold yet! and Day out mining on the West coast goldfields videos) but different people like different types so I do a bit of both, I will admit this one did have a lot more talking then normal.
I'm just pointing out that a kid is talking and pointing and thinking out loud for a long time at a stretch, sharing stuff a 60 year old man might think like it's sandpapering my ass to a bloody pool. You can make this video last 6 minutes. And possibly get more likes if it's short and sweet.
