It's good to see you on the beach again. Congrats on your first ring for 2024. My first thought also is that they resemble old school double edge razor blades. I have a question if you don't mind about the hip replacement. How long was the time period from surgery to when you were back on the beach, and does it feel better hunting the beach now? I am asking because my starboard hip is bone on bone and the port is not much better. Lots of wear and tear over the years. Led an active life. After an active day of metal detecting the beach, I usually need a day or two to recover before heading out again. Thank you for sharing your beach hunt. Your vids are always enjoyable, and I love that you are swinging the Manticore. Take care and Happy Hunting!

Yes the replaced hip is much better and it took about 4 weeks to ease into metal detecting. I will also need the other hip replaced in the future. But overall it is good and still healing.

I’m glad to see you’re back in action! Did you buy a new camera or something? Looks like you’re filming in 5K?
