For some reason meralco isn’t showing up now in GCash. Is it the same for you?
It's showing up naman on me. Pero this happened to me na rin before. I was told it had something to do with meralco having a scheduled system maintenance sa bayad center.

I just tried it pero i didnt receive any confirmation number or sms from gcash. Unfortunately the amount got deducted from my gcash wallet. I created a ticket with the gcash help website but no resolution yet. I hope they still have a customer service number for cases like my own.

Guys can you this one: if your bill has past due amount, don't include that in the payment. The MRN is tied only to your CURRENT amount due.
So when entering the amount to be paid, type in the exact amount that's stated in the current amount due stated in the bill.
Let me know if that works. This happened to me rin before when I first tried this.
Input the exact amount even the centavos.

Hindi sya magiging refund pero magrereflect sa statement mo na nag overpay ka. So sa next bill mo, bawas na Yung sobra mong bayad

I keep getting an error that I need to verify the MRN number eventhough I have the right code using the barcode scan. GCash support is also unhelpful. So frustrating.

Check after 24 hours. It doesn't reflect immediately after payment

Pano pong ibang name? Iba ung account name sa Meralco, tapos ibang account name naman po na gcash? Pwede po. I was able to use my mom's GCash account to pay for my a Meralco bill not named after her.

Make sure you enter the CURRENT AMOUNT when paying. That's usually the issue.

Usually within the day or next day reflected na.
Paano pong reflected? may 13 pako nagbayad. Pero pag tinignan ko yung meralco online at maynilad may presyo parin. May 16 napo ngsyon

Pwede. Since nakakabit sila sa bayad center, parang sa Meralco ka na mismo nagbabayad. So kahit past due pwede pa nila tanggapin. Basta pay using the current amount of your past due para pumasok sa system. :)
Sir question. Ayae mag scan nung barcode sa right sakin, and if it does, hindi kapareho nung nasa gitna. So I typed it manually. Still invalid MRN daw po
The issue is in the amount you're paying po. Pay for the current amount only. Kaya sya invalid MRN Kasi hindi match Yung current amount and the amount you're paying via GCash.
Possible na you have a previous balance. This is tied to a different MRN, from your previous month's bill.

@@carolcuales3502 hindi ko pa na encounter yung error na yan pero make sure you scan the correct bar code - the bottom right one. Then double check if the number is captured correctly. Baka may error lang sa pag capture nung Barcode.

sorry I can't answer if ibang electric company. Pero usually ang important Lang naman Dyan is ung unique reference number or account number ng binabayaran mo na account.

Make sure po to input CURRENT AMOUNT of your bill when paying. Do not include past month's due. Ung MRN will match only the current amount po, since each MRN is unique to that month.
May rebate po ba kapag sa gcash nag bayad ng bills?
Not all the time pero from time to time may rebate promo po ung ga merchants with gcash.

I only have the "Toal Current Amount" as an option under Pay For drop down ... I tried the past due and the total bill which includes the bill which won't be due until Dec21 but I got this error message "Oops! Please check if your input is the correct MRN stated in the SAO." I tried typing the MRN and scan it too but same error. Not sure if you know how to fix this for my next bill since I will be paying this manually to Meralco office tomorrow
Hi Jundy. GCash only allows payment of your on-hand bill's current amount. You can't combine the amount of past due and current under one payment. If you want to pay for your past due, you must have the bill for that month and use the bar code on that bill.
Also, the system won't accept the payment if the amount you're paying is not the same as the current amount of your bill. Hope this helps.

Try inputting the current amount only, and not the total amount. That usually solves the problem.

Nung nag bayad ako nung sakin reflected naman agad. Just make sure to keep your transaction confirmation and ref no. Try checking ulit next week.

Great question! I'm not exactly familiar lang sa online / electronic bill ng Meralco so I'm not sure if it has the same MRN (Meralco reference number) as the paper bill. But if it does provide the MRN, you can pay it via GCash even without the GCash card.
BTW you can buy a GCash card now from 7eleven.

Yes, pag last month bill babayaran mo, just pay the current amount stated in that bill. Hindi papasok payment mo kasi the reference number only refers to the current amount.

Mine it is saying to check the 26 digits if correct. I checked it many times it correct as scanned. It's saying it is wrong
you may have to input it manually if that's the case, and make sure the current amount of that bill, matches the amount you are paying with GCash, otherwise it will still say MRN is incorrect.
This happens to me as well even though I entered the digits manually. Also when I scan the right-side barcode, it shows a completely different set of numbers which is not even 26 digits. What is up with that?

Sa GCash meron po, I think 6 or 7 pesos. Sa paymaya wala po ako idea kasi I don't use that.

@@jattfullroy1330 better if you check the app yourself nalang, maraming pwede bayaran na services, Pldt even. I use this to pay all my bills actually (Globe, sun, Pldt, Meralco).
As for the fees, I'm not sure if across all billers eh same sila ng charges pero around that lang naman ang transaction fee.

also tried paying sa unionbank online ko, may scanning procedure rin but same result, hindi nagppush through. other bills nagppush, meralco lang talaga mahirap bayaran online 🤔
halimbawa po, ang resibo nyo ay from march to april. ang ienter nyo pong amount ay yung pang buwan ng april gagana na po siya.

Yes pwede po. Basta scan nyo po ung last bill nyo, not the latest one. Disconnection notice na rin po ako actually dito sa video, pero yung actual bill po ang scan ko. Basta ang input nyo po ay yung current amount ng last bill Nyo para pumasok.

Kelangan po Match Yung MRN sa amount na binabayaran. So if previous balance sya, look for your previous month's bill, and get the MRN from there.

Sir current amount lang po talaga pwede isettle per bill. Hindi po papasok sa system nila if total amount.
Another way to settle your total amount is to scan your last month's bill and pay for the current amount of that period. Let me know if that works for you

One day na po kasi nakakalipas wala pa rin pero nagpay po kasi ako ay this Saturday lang
Hi Chuck! Try waiting for a full 24 hour cycle before mag reflect. If wala pa rin, since weekend ka nag pay, baka mag reflect sa Monday pa yan. Not entirely sure though.
