  • I have been sitting on this video for a while. So long that I actually now have a version 2 already to go (keep your eye out on YT shorts, I'll be posting it there). The reason for the delay was mainly because I got married and went on a honeymoon. Then, I wanted to finish up the honeymoon vlog series before posting this. Anyhow, this video is about my process of making an insert for all my gear.

    none of those are food safe and if exposed to moisture will be a breeding ground for bacteria. you would need a ruby or stainless steel tip and food grade filament plus the ability to seal the piece to fix all the micropores / jagged surfaces where bacteria will grow. just noting in case that's a concern for optometry use case. I dont think any of those tools will be touching mucous membranes or going into vulnerable areas that might be exposed, other than skin, but I don't know how sanitary you need to be
