I highly recommend it! I would love to go back and target some of these villages' feasts, but I was there during the International Fireworks Festival and highly recommend going during that time. The weather perfect for fireworks!
That was great thanks for the tour of the fireworks factory the statistic that stuck out was there are a total of 35 of theses on an island of 500k which is incredible.
It is not a fireworks factory. It is a fireworks club. Some guys play golf and this guys build fireworks. I love the daylight multibreak shells. This Timing and sound is fantastic. Sometimes the smoke is colored.
Love their expertise, craftmanship and doing it with their own hands with materials sourced locally. It's also a question of tradition, related to their identity. I am from the island of Mauritius where we let off Fireworks for every New Year, but no local factories, just importers.
Thank you, I totally agree with you. This is my 3rd factory visit in three different countries and it is very cool to see what traditions are being used today.
Man this was super informative and awesome! It is amazing it's all volunteer, handmade, and so much recycled and on island production!! Amazing!!! You had to be in heaven out there!!!
It was a fantastic experience! I have a ton of footage that I haven't had time to edit. Will have a standalone video on Matlese wheels and then just other footage from shows, shells, and more.
Thank you man! I travel quite a bit, but most of the time it isn't much to do with fireworks, or I don't have time to record the footage. This was my third firework factory from a different country.
That is great, I use to travel a lot, getting ready to do a lot more. The whole fireworks thing has me very intrigued. I would like to see Del Vicario.
@@MichaelWorx That's awesome to hear! I can't promise how much more firework travels are this year, but I have a few international trips on the books for work/personal travel

If they use grapevines for charcoal, then where do they get their nitrates from?
Great question. I have very little manufacturing experience, so would need someone else to chime in.
@@JoelRobinsonPyrotechnics We get some nirates from other country's ,and also some other nitrates we produce our own
From spain and italy.
Prices are 4 times higher than other country because they import almost everything.

You're correct, all larger shells are ball shells from China. I'm guessing it has something to do with the mass production aspect.
