the Day Peckinpaugh en.wikipedia.o... is the LAST Erie Canal Freighter left. As of the time this video was filmed, she was scheduled to be scrapped in the next few weeks (Note: I heard something about an auction for her today)
As you can see she is in VERY bad shape.
She is currently moored below lock 3 at the Matton Shipyard.
Quite sad if this ship is not saved.
