seems like a godsend for beginners.
this is awesome. getting the perfect white shade or the off whites to make the color separation just right can be hard, either because every white from every company reacts different, thinning rations can be hell, or the coverage is straight up bs. that´s why i use pre thinned paints now. Would love to get my hands on these, but shipping lacquers is a nightmare ´round here. Kudos to you papa gundam for this line.
Since these paints are primarily for highlighting, I'd really appreciate some sort of tutorial/demonstration video showing your base coat and preshading process and what paints you use for that.
This is going to cut into my fluffy figure budget.

I caught the video for these on my lunch break. They were sold out by the time I got home. I must say that's a great price on the set, and thank you for getting splash to finally do sets. I'm still picking up a fluffy or three. My kid, and the wife both want one, and I need one for the shelf.

@@ItsAGunpla You have a ton of people who want to see you succeed. In my darkest times, when I couldn't be strong for myself, I always found it easier to be strong for others. That's just my personality though. You clearly have some reservoir of strength, I just hope you know what it takes to refill it.

Absolutely will pick this up. I’ve got a massive range of gray to white paints already for both gunpla and miniature painting but I’m always looking for high quality. I’ve loved your work since I found you in 2017- I really hope you will provide some examples or tutorials with this particular set in achieving base/highlights/shadows.

Doesn't matter whether you're painting Gundam or Necro gang bangers (classic, of course!), this looks fantastic taking the guess work out of painting with white, even me, who's something of an experienced painter (although, I'm far from perfect!).

Why do people think preshading looks good on mechs? Also, what is the objective? It's a 3 dimensional object, it casts real shadows... Also If you must do preshading it should be the base of battle damage design or worn look. But just preshading alone looks off... like it turns it into a mech shaped leather couch. Preshading is great for rubber, like in super hero suits or leather and other non ridged softer materials... Not on ridged, angular metal materials. It's weird looking. Anyway... Take my money.
