These days, Muse are the best live sounding band. Their sound is so clean...
You should check out the struts, those guys sound identical live as they do in the studio and the singer is the next Freddie Mercury lol
i agree, i mean you can hear every word not like these so called hiphop artists these days, who knows what their chatting, i fully agree, clean, crisp, pleasure in your ears

Absolutely brilliant! I've loved Duran Duran since the word go and think Muse are amazing, but I wouldn't have guessed they would ever do a DD cover. Love it - a really good version.
I know Muse detested the idea of a Greatest Hits album, but they do so many great versions of covers, I hope they make an album of them.
I love Muse...but until i saw this video, for me it was impossible to play Duran Duran's songs as well as the original ones.... But i was wrong...thank you Muse for this awesome moment 🥰

Criminally underrated band performing cover of another criminally underrated band. Muse is this generation's closest modern day approximation of hanging out in a similar musical galaxy as Rush.
Are either of those bands underrated? Both extremely successful and widely loved. Maybe underrated by some critics, but who gives a toss what critics say?

What underrated? DD rocked the music industry in major markets in the 80s and 90s, Muse did so in 2000s and 2010s.. they are generally considered successful tho?
I like this. It stays faithful to the original, but they add a little bit of their own twist on things.
The drums are absolutely on point. Excellently done, and slightly different from the bombastic drums of Roger Taylor.

@@ThinWhiteAxe As crazy as it seems there were two different really great drummers with the same name in the era. There were actually three members of Duran Duran with the last name taylor - Roger (drums obviously), Andy (guitarr) and John (bass). Sorry for the unwarranted knowledge... ;) Merry Christmas!

Excellent cover! And kudos to the keyboard player, who does an amazing job, but is kept in the shade and is never filmed.
It was a good version. It only lacked the synth rhythm throughout the entire song and the palm mute on the chorus. But, it's alright.

DD are bass driven, not guitar driven. They should not have buried the awesome bass and keyboards in this rendition. Definitely talented though.
