While I enjoyed EG Nu gundam building the EG Strike wasn't so fun and the hip joints are so bad, like who the hell thought that design is a good idea. I just posed it and never touch again otherwise legs fall off when I breath at it. I had one more EG Strike just different color and I just went and sold it to nearest store so I won't have to go through it again.
@@HaohmaruHL you do know that its a model kit not an action figure model kits are not meant to be played with they for display they are articulated so you can put it in a pose and leave it like that its also fucking easy to fix loose joints if you cant figure out how you should just give up on models buy an action figure and stop bitching
The entry grade rx 78 is probably the best looking version of it in 1/144 at least as far as anime accurate looks and the entry grade nunis fantastic all around

Considering how analogue Japan is I'm not surprised by the plot of new Build Divers. Not many Japanese use amazon or netflix and still buy CDs and DVDs. And to be honest I do prefer to go to a chain of stores in Nanba browsing shelves of different boxes since it feels like being a kid in a candy store (while also checking Amazon and Mercari for how reasonable prices are) and I might get interested in something I would have never take a look at otherwise. The main gunpla also looks like just some random color variation like a 7eleven entry grade or how a nissin cup noodle would be. I get this is just because real gunpla fans are now in their 30-50s now and they need to find a way to sell gunpla to a new generation but all of this screams another generic anime series you can skip. I wonder if we'll ever even get a serious gundam timeline show anymore.
That Exceed Galaxy looks awesome. Clear plastic accents, a core fighter (that looks like it becomes the backpack) and it's an Entry Grade so it'll be cheap. Definitely a must-buy for me.
I'd really like a Torohachi or three. It would be fun to paint them in that traditional Japanese dumpling colours. Though, I am curious as to what sort of space is available for putting in a pilot figure.
My only hope is that Bandai Ramp up their production to meet demand of the current population of builders. I don't want them to be constantly scalped and CANCEL PB if they really want to hype the up coming metaverse.
Ever since i got into Gundam, there was always one mobile suit that I loved from the beginning, the GM. And my favorite variant is the Origin version, so seeing it finally get a HG release that wasn't PBandai excited the f#*k out of me. Now, i got 3 of those. Its basically a full weapon set all by itself.
The head on the vanilla GM in the triple GM set looks to be a new. The old head is just so slightly bigger than the newer style HGUC releases so they probably made a new head to make it fit the other 2 GMs.
I mean, to be fair the rx-78 IS based off of Japanese culture (samurai in particular) so it does still align with the protags interests. I will however say that the fact it's an rx-78 does feel disappointing for me. I just feel there were better, more interesting options, but hey maybe its inevitable upgrade will be better?
Kakarot, please, can you explain something behind mobile weapon naming conventions? Some have names that appear motivated (like Zaku meaning 'small fish' or something similar in Japanese, Nemo being a famous literature character or Hyaku Shiki meaning 'Type 100'), while some machines have names that sound like something out of Lovectaft (RX-124 Gundam TR-6 [Haze'n-thley II]).
I agreed with you to new variant of kamiki burning gundam have some master gundam influences. I watched a youtuber that his opinion it's influences came from extreme gundam but most comment are from master gundam My target is the backpack of strike😊
when it comes to the head vulcans in gundam shows not doing much damage one has to realize that the head of a gundam is not a very big space the 3mm referred to in this video is the one in the a 10 its length is 1/3 the height of the rx78 barrel length is a very important factor in gun design as the shorter the barrel is the lower the projectiles velocity due to the projectile being expelled from the barrel before the propellant has fully burned due to the space available in the average ms head it has to be a short barrel meaning the diameter of the projectile was probably increased and the ammunition is probably one of or a mix of high explosive, high explosive squash head, and high explosive anti tank as the velocity would be to slow to rely on any kinetic effects and would have to rely on chemical energy to do damage the guns themselves are most likely more akin to a belt fed grenade launcher

They had been hinting that all the Build series would cross at the end of Build Divers. My guess, is that the core gundam belong to the AI from Build Divers, or maybe the part of it that wasn't purified. And yes, missing opportunity with the main Gundam. Not enough samurai/ninja. A 78-2 could've been customized to be more ninja/samurai (with parts of the Gundams you mentionned), but this custom don't fit those two theme IMO. And I JUST want a French Canadian diver to identify to, 'cuz now we have to identify to someone like us. lol But seriously, since the main is American, would be fun to get a French Canadian diver. So much cussing opportunities! And I really like to hear Japanese actors and VA try to speak French, trying to convince peep they are main speakers, but you can hear they can. @@gerogyzurkov2259 Ask Facebook how much money they burned on their metaverse.... at that point an MMO seems to be the cheaper alternative. Not to mention they could build their "shopping for gunpla" idea into said mmo no problem too without all the cringy BS. Not to mention a MMO like Build divers would be mostly instance based so you would save alot of cash on expensive servers, (its much much much more cheaper to run instance based servers then large community real time servers) Also live service games arent doing so well anymore because people are fed up with their nonsense and lack of quality wich incidantly is the same reason that the MMO genre went down. Because alot of Publishers and developers thought they could half ass their games for a quick buck, not realizing that the monumental success of titans like world of warcraft was initially due to the high quality and user friendliness. Final fantasy 14 shows that even in this day and age you can have massive success with a subscription MMO if you just put in the effort.

It's just that almost all companies only do research on trendy things years in advance when by the time it comes out with most things these trends last only a narrow magin before completely falling off the cliff. Most of them try to recoup the costs while quite a few try to make do to bring some money maybe even hit gold again if it's done well enough which it rarely done again. Fewer still just cut it completely. I do agree though live service and Metavese is on shaky grounds and will go down eventually.

I mean just look at Redfall and Jedi survivor this year.. both games clearly where released far before they could be considered finished. And thats atop of all the ways that the publishers try to fleece their customers for every single cent.
Plenty of reveals but still no retail HGUC announcement. I don't want 2023 to break the streak of new kits every year since the line began. Just one kit last year, the Shenlong, was a bad sign. Master Grades are suffering too.
i'm getting sick of hearing p bandai this gundam base exclusive that over here in canada its rare for us to get decent p bandai kits and even if we do we gotta pay double almost triple the damn price for example the MG Re gz custom goes for 199.99$CAD plus tax so your looking at almost 250$ and the gm spartan is 162$ its robbery over here
@@fishpop another funny one about duty fees is i bought a copy of mega man 4 and 6 from the states it came out to 150$ BUT once it shipped is where it gets very sus and annoying i checked my bank and they took another 60$!!! because once again the value so if i ever plan to get say mega man 5 which goes for around 150 i guarentee itll be almost 100$ more if i buy from the states
They can try to hype this thing up as much as they want but until it reaches a level similar to GBN many of us just won't care. The mention of Gunpla scan is a step in the right direction but it's far from promising with how they keep trying yet stumble over things like the fact you can buy gunpla online... and those avatars.
On the bright side, it'll be cheaper and you can equip striker packs on it. They also reference the galaxy booster....though it's hard to find it nowadays so they're probably going to reprint it

Entry Grade are great. You can build it in 15 minutes and they look decent.

Tbf, the RX-78 Gundam is a decent first custom mobile suit considering how cheap it is. Since the MC is supposed to be a novice and all that.

I have the issue of GHL that the Kampfer appears in. It looks like the Kampfer uses the original frame.
Masked Lady is just a dollar store version of Lady Kawaguchi from Build Fighters Try as in the first female Char clone before Prospera.

Wasnt one of the gunpla build fighter series allready about that? It was pretty meta versy there... i say it again: how come these companies can come up with MMO ideas that everyone wants... and then never try to make an actuall MMO out of it? Screw "Metaverse"... gimme a build fighter online mmo
Cause MMO takes a long time to build and money. It's why live service games have been popping more to plug in and to serve that niche of the MMO.
@@gerogyzurkov2259 Ask Facebook how much money they burned on their metaverse.... at that point an MMO seems to be the cheaper alternative. Not to mention they could build their "shopping for gunpla" idea into said mmo no problem too without all the cringy BS. Not to mention a MMO like Build divers would be mostly instance based so you would save alot of cash on expensive servers, (its much much much more cheaper to run instance based servers then large community real time servers)
Also live service games arent doing so well anymore because people are fed up with their nonsense and lack of quality wich incidantly is the same reason that the MMO genre went down. Because alot of Publishers and developers thought they could half ass their games for a quick buck, not realizing that the monumental success of titans like world of warcraft was initially due to the high quality and user friendliness. Final fantasy 14 shows that even in this day and age you can have massive success with a subscription MMO if you just put in the effort.
@@riptors9777 I agree fully with your opinion. It's just that almost all companies only do research on trendy things years in advance when by the time it comes out with most things these trends last only a narrow magin before completely falling off the cliff. Most of them try to recoup the costs while quite a few try to make do to bring some money maybe even hit gold again if it's done well enough which it rarely done again. Fewer still just cut it completely.
I do agree though live service and Metavese is on shaky grounds and will go down eventually.
@@gerogyzurkov2259 Agreed, the short sighted greed and the mentality that everything has to be done in the fastest time as possible, even if it means cutting corners, has produced so much disapointment over the years. I mean just look at Redfall and Jedi survivor this year.. both games clearly where released far before they could be considered finished. And thats atop of all the ways that the publishers try to fleece their customers for every single cent.

i'm getting sick of hearing p bandai this gundam base exclusive that over here in canada its rare for us to get decent p bandai kits and even if we do we gotta pay double almost triple the damn price for example the MG Re gz custom goes for 199.99$CAD plus tax so your looking at almost 250$ and the gm spartan is 162$ its robbery over here

@@fishpop another funny one about duty fees is i bought a copy of mega man 4 and 6 from the states it came out to 150$ BUT once it shipped is where it gets very sus and annoying i checked my bank and they took another 60$!!! because once again the value so if i ever plan to get say mega man 5 which goes for around 150 i guarentee itll be almost 100$ more if i buy from the states

They can try to hype this thing up as much as they want but until it reaches a level similar to GBN many of us just won't care. The mention of Gunpla scan is a step in the right direction but it's far from promising with how they keep trying yet stumble over things like the fact you can buy gunpla online... and those avatars.
