I've never shot skeet etc... and looking into buying a shotgun and getting into this sport and these tips are so grateful 🙏, Thanks
Great video. We’re not always missing behind. Over and out front are common for me. ShotKam is very helpful for correcting and breaking more clays!
I watched literally 25 deferent videos! This by far the best ever! I truly realized what wrong I was doing the whole time . Thanks again
Excellent video. Great job explaining some of the common mistakes made. I just ordered my ShotKam Saturday and am looking forward to getting it set up and using it. Until then will continue to watch your instructional videos.
Thank you for your kind feedback and recent purchase 😊 We really appreciate it!
Got my Black Friday special. This is a great teaching tool.
Thank you for your purchase and kind words, we really appreciate it!
Emily is so easy to listen to and watch. A super pleasant person. Her pointers are dead on and motivated me to go out to buy the shot cam. I will try this week and hope to improve my game. Thanks Emily
This is such a kind comment, thank you very much James. -- Emily
Great video and so well explained on the different problems and bad habits that you pick up. Thanks shotkam keep them coming 👍🏻
I bought a Shotkam last year and have not used it yet. That said, this film was very useful and the Shotkam will be on the gun on Friday when my son and I go to shoot some clays.
Hi Colin, thank you for your kind comment. We are so glad you are enjoying your ShotKam. Please let us know if you need anything further.
I don't own a shotkam but I wish I did. Christmas is coming though. Regardless just watching the video's and listening to the instruction, then applying it in the field has already significantly increased my dove kill numbers while reducing the spent shells I carry out, AND I KNOW WHY, that's impressive to me. Thank you!
Very informative. I don't own a shotkam but study these videos frequently.
Shotkam on its way. Can’t wait to try it out and use these tips. 🤩
Thank you so much for your recent purchase, we really appreciate it 😄
You are awesome! Very nicely explained. Thumbs up 👍
super helpful. thanks
Well thought out and presented. Thanks.
Shotkam is a wonderful gear to Improve shooting and Emily is a charming girl. Love watching her tutorials!

@Lawson William It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thank you so much, you saved my account :D
@Nehemiah Judah No problem :D
Best thing I ever bought to improve my shooting , awesome camera
Great video and thanks for sharing. Shotkam product is one of my best lifetime product purchases. Most of my misses now i can replay in my head like a shotkam replay and the major cause is too much lead. Im not a competition shooter but shotkam has improved my hunting accuracy enormously.
Hi Charles, thank you so much for such a kind comment. I've subscribed to your RUclips Channel so I get notified of all your ShotKam hunting videos :). - Emily
Hi Emily, a very useful summary. You may remember I raised an issue with you about my muzzle flip some time ago, which you addressed here in point 3 'Keep Clay In Frame' at 3:55. You attributed the issue to one of two things, gun fit or lifted head. I tracked the root cause of my problem down to a third reason - where I was holding the forend. I had my supporting hand too close to the action, and so struggled to stop my gun pivoting around my hands on recoil. A friend commented that I had my hands very close together, so I moved my supporting hand out to the end of the forend. It felt strange for a short while but made the gun far more stable. Now the clays stay in shot the whole time - next step, actually breaking them ;-)
Hi Neil, that's great input , I hadn't thought of that as a possibility before. Moving your left hand out on the forend probably forced your body to better balance the gun and reduce muzzle-flip. Perhaps the gun was back-end heavy before. Thanks again for watching and commenting Neil, I really appreciate it. - Emily
most useful video on the internet, great tutorial... Emily and Bettina top ladies, know their stuff
Emily looks happy all the time I wish I can be that happy
All of your's and David's videos are superb.
Thanks so much Hal, we're making many more in 2020 :). -- Emily
My wife and I both have ShotKam's and found them to be a great help when trying to figure out when we get into a slump and why it happens . This is a great product !!! Wish it would have been around forty years ago .
Thank you very much for your kind comment and feedback ☺ We truly appreciate it!
I have been watching many video's over the last 2-3 years since I started and I have learned so much. I found the shotkam site browsing and a guy was using it. He provided a link and this is the 1st video. I will def consider a shotkam next season - This was my best year - I found a gun that fits and have been using both eyes and pointing as much as possible - taking the variables out of my end so I can react better with bird flight and wind variables. I only shoot from 16y right now - summer league I my avg was over 20 and fall league it was almost 22 with a couple 24's. This is a great, fun, outdoor sport I wish I started sooner! Great video.
I just ordered a Shotkam. I can't wait to get it because I hope it will improve my skeet game a little bit.
Excellent video; amplifies the value of owning one of these Shotkams considerably. Crystal clear narrative.
best video on youtube .. of any type
Thank yoiu for showing us some of us need your shcooling
Really enlightening.
Very helpful video!
I find using the Frames feature in Quicktime better than the VLC program recomended. VLC stops after about 12 frames and locks up My Mac running Monterey OS.
Thank you so much for your feedback on VLC, we will be sure to look into this issue you are experiencing. Thank you again!
Excellent! Very useful tips. THANKS!
Emily. Keep up the great flow of information.
What an awesome tool! I'll work on convincing my wife I need one.
Glad I dropped onto this video. Very enlightening.
Excellent explanation. I was just at the range yesterday doing some traps. I did miss some tho😂. I wondered why I missed as I thought I had perfectly lined up a lead. I should do better next time ❤
Great tutorial.
Emily my shotkam is working great I have already earned three punches for the 2019 season and we are only three tournaments into it. Thanks for all the support and the videos.
Hi Johnny, I am so glad to hear that. Congratulations on earning those three punches, I am excited to see what else is in store for you for the rest of the season :). I'm going to start competing myself later this year, so we'll see how it goes. - Emily
@@Shotkam Emily, while I didn't get a chance to use my Kam before the big Memorial day weekend, I did take the 5 stand HOA in my class and another 4 punches, Thank you shotkam !!
Thanks Emily and shooter! My ShotKam videos reveal that I have "wondering eyes" as the video shows my aim going to the trap house when I call for the bird. I noticed this before but hadn't realized the cause of this until seeing the narrative. This and other revelations are improving my trap game. Thanks!
@@joecostner1246 actually wonderful eyes that wander. 😎
For crooked videos make sure that the mount is correct i.e. the USB plug is directly below (right angle) to the barrel.
Great video. I never thought some my “over the top” misses were from moving my head off the stock. I will be paying more attention to this now. Thanks for the different ideas how to review the videos. The ShotKam camera has been the best personal instruction tool for me to improve in sporting clays. Thanks for the video. Jim - Georgia USA
I have the ShotKam and am still struggling with using it. Its not the product its more user error. Emily makes the best videos out there, and they are very helpful.

Thanks so much for your kind comment and feedback Rich 😃 We really appreciate it!
Hey Em, great videos and presentation! Although I can't yet afford one of these awesome cams, I have watched just about every one of your videos, lol, and it has helped me significantly!!! I realize from the videos that I wasn't leading my targets enough, imagine just how good I would be now if I had one of these cams lol! You guys definitely have earned my subscription, thanks again for all you do!
Hi Dan, thanks so much for your kind comment and feedback, we really appreciate it!
@@Shotkam woohoo......just got mine! Can't wait to try it!
Great video. Did a round on Saturday. Recorded lots of shots. Very informative. You coverage many of my errors in this one video. Thx again

Thank you Wickrama, appreciate it. -- Emily
Very informative for a newbie trap shooter like me. Thank you
You are making an excellent videos, Keep up the good work. Thumbs up 👍
Thank you very much for your kind feedback 😃 We really appreciate it!
Great video. VERY helpful
Probably the best description of how to aim a moving target I have seen yet. Thanks!
Excellent video of How to diagnosis your shooting. Thanks very much.
Emily
I really enjoy your “instructional videos” like this one by you and the Skeet station by station” (although station 8 and some other offered NO explanation). The videos showing someone simply shoooting clays without explanation is pretty much useless other than entertainment. There are plenty of those! Keep up the instruction! Ism on my second ShotKam!!
Thank you for your feedback Keith, we really appreciate it.
Wonderful, never seen such-a detail video. Thanks keep it up.
Nice job Emily, the best shot gun tutorial I've seen so far.
John S.
Thanks so much John. Happy holidays! - Emily
Looking forward to getting my Shotkam very soon always Great videos by you guys😎
Thanks so much for your purchase Aidan, we really appreciate it!
That was great thank you ...
Hi Emily, can you ask the guys if I'm left master eye and a right handed shooter, do I need to train myself to keep both eyes fully open at all times including the final trigger pull? - Currently I finally close my left eye at the point of final trigger pull? 😍 Just pre ordered a Shotkam from you to see if I can self analyze this issue, but some pro tips would be really useful 😅
Hi Dale, thank you for your comment and purchase, we really appreciate it. Yes, you should keep both eyes open (if your vision is good in both) as you'll be able to better judge distances. It's always ideal to keep both eyes open, then customize the gun if needed so it shoots where you're looking. Once you have the ShotKam, you'll get clarity whether it's your move that needs improved, or a gun-fit issue. You'll likely see canting in your videos (slanting) because of your left-eye dominance and right-handed shooting, but that can be adjusted with gun-fit. Hope this helps! - Emily
@@Shotkam Hi Emily, yes I do notice I 'cant' or 'slant' the gun when shooting, your reply and advice is very helpful to me, thank you, I have some solutions to correct that problem now planned. I look forward to receiving my Shotkam from your UK supply to help me through this re-learning curve of keeping both eyes open at all times - Thanks again for your reply, Dale 😎
Thank you so much for developing such a awesome camera and your videos!
Thank you James! -- Emily
Thanks for the video. Just got my camera, hope to go out soon. You do an excellent job of explaining on the videos.
Thank you Linda! - Emily
Awesome explanations, thank you.
very informative. especially as how to interpret shotkam video mistakes and corrections one needs to apply
Thanks so much Tom. -- Emily
Lovely ❤ teacher
Great video. I'll be buying a shotkam
Thanks again, Emily for this great shooting tips. 👍
I will be taking several young hunters out to shoot sporting clays this weekend, to prepare for duck season!
My shotgun with the ShotKam will be shared as requested. Can’t wait to review both our hits and misses. 🙂
Thanks Steve for watching and commenting, we appreciate it. Have a great time with the young hunters this weekend, I'm sure they'll make lasting memories 🦆. - Emily
Wonderful video, thanks. Love my Shotkam. It's very helpful in diagnosing misses.
great videos, which help not only to analyze and improve at the shooting range, but also for driven wild boar hunting...thanks!
Very informative. Great video👍 I personally would find it helpful if you could give distances of lead on specific targets. Obviously this will change with different targets in reality, But I think it would be a good reference.
Well worth the price. I've improved so much. Love the videos. Quality piece of kit.
This is such a nice comment, thank you. Please send us as email at support@shotkam.com so we can mail you a ShotKam hat :). - Emily
very good information, i shoot most the rifles and i got problem with clays, i try always aim the clayes. but know i found lot more things, thanks
Excellent video 👍🏻
Great tips and advice
Enjoyed the video Emily (as always).... Thanks
“Head off the gun”....a comment that IMHO just can’t be stated too often.
Hi Tom, thanks (as always) for watching :). -Emily
Very informative and good video dear
Brilliant video. Very informative!
HELPFUL? Emily, that video was *so* informative! Thank you!
@ShotKam - maybe add a "still frame mode" that takes a still burst right after the shot... I'd like to be able to review my point of release in the field. Then I can make adjustments on the fly, otherwise I have to come home, review, and sleep on it. I'd like to be able to use it for real time feedback on the miss, which is harder to see than the makes...
Merci pour vos conseils 👍🇲🇫
Brilliant Lessons !
Thank you very much Jamal. - Emily
Very helpful video, full of informative information.
Fantastic video!
