    I Fu**ing loved this scene. The song went so well with it, from the drum intro with him walking to the elevator,to that dance down the stairs.

    DC really has much more serious and psychologically powerful characters. John Constantine is another one, damn his stories are dark. I'd love to see Leonardo DiCaprio playing a British guy as John Constantine, that'd be another Oscar worthy performance for sure.

      It depends on how you treat the material; Daredevil; Punisher , and even the Hulk can be complex and psychological too.

      @@TheVetoSkreeemer I don't know man. I mean I think DC character by virtue tend to get under people's skin more than Marvel ones. Especially characters like Joker, Rorschach and John Constantine. These characters' stories by virtue seem so much demented even if you don't alter with source material.
      Just picked up "Batman Arkham Asylum a Serious House on Serious Earth". The artwork and the story really gives me chills. Kudos to Grant Morrison and Dave McKean.

      Guess what are the greatest DC hero and villain? Batman and Joker. They have no superpower in a world full of powerful beings but they have the best story of any character

    It rivals Heath ledgers performance

    • @mccarthyp64
      @mccarthyp64 5 лет назад

      Ledger had the confines of the story to work with and brought in as much eccentricity as possible while Phoenix had much more freedom to make it look eccentric. Both performances a great, but different.

    • @Shambles-sq6yb
      @Shambles-sq6yb 5 лет назад

      @@mccarthyp64 yeah that's good way of looking at it. Personally I feel that ledgers joker is more of a genius as he brought down the mob. Phoenix joker was more dark and and while it was a great performance it didn't explore the mastermind side of it.
