Thank you for recommending the book, "The Glass Universe," by Dave Sobel. I'm reading it now. Excellent history of astronomy.
This is the best explanation of the concept!!
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know a way to get back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my login password. I appreciate any assistance you can offer me
@Ayaan Alvin Instablaster =)

@Benjamin Santana It worked and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you really help me out!
@Ayaan Alvin no problem :D
Great video about to understand distance. Tribute to the lady for her magnificent discovery.
truly yes
Historical fact: Hubble never used the word galaxy, he always used nebulae.
At about 6:15 you make a rather monstrous error. Cepheids become _brighter_ as they expand due to reduced shell opacity and expanded overall surface opacity and they become dimmer due to increasing shell opacity. Granted it is a bit more complicated than that but, the concept is bigger, brighter. Smaller, dimmer. Henrietta made a good catch on this one.
