Though I also looked for others I come back to this one always. I like your explanation of yoga nidra at the beginning too. I do like the yoga nidra by Colette Carol as well. Thank-you so much for your gift. It has meant so much to my recovery.

Iam hurting andtheygave me Tylenol and they cut my breasts off.. how in the actual fk... having a hard time dealing it's cruel... I am so freaked out right now w everything...nidra by Liam puts me out...how many times a day? Nothig else works...if they tell me I have it in my limphnodes....I am going holistic....
Fabulous meditation, I have been listening every day and it is becoming an addiction. I love listening to your voice and become completely calm and relaxed. However I wonder if I will be able to achieve this state of relaxation without listening?
Hello Ann, thank you for your kind words. What happens as we practice the meditation is the mind becomes used to detaching from the constant stream of thoughts that normally occupy our attention. As we learn to lean back and relax with what shows up in our life each all of our bodies systems also relax, lower heart rate, lower blood pressure and calmer feelings throughout. Initially we associate this relaxed state as being 'tired' since we are not used to operating in a high Alpha brainwave state, but we can get used to it and recognize that this relaxed state is a much more rewarding, healthy place to be. Instead of the hype we tap into the beauty around us, in us and in our friends.

interesting question Dorothy, can I heal my family by my practice. Wayne Dyer once said, If I can the way I see the world the world I see changes. I believe by my consistent practice I heal internally without my conscious involvement. As that healing progresses I become consciously aware of my changing attitude and response to my life. I begin to 'relax with life' through a less stressful response to what is going on. This relaxes my physiology which allows me to feel better. As I feel better I radiate that feeling to those around me and consciously or not they will benefit from my well-being. Does that help?

yes meditation can be done in many ways. The main idea here is 'letting go' and that's way its a guided meditation, you don't have to do anything but listen and let go. By leading yourself you are 'engaged' and this can prevent you surrendering. You can take any one of the components (such as palming the face or the breath component) and practice this throughout the day. You will gain tremendous benefits from this.
hi i had a really wonderful and interesting experience overall but within minutes i started sobbing uncontrollably ..is that normal? have you observed that happening to others? is that a good thing or a bad thing? i really dont like crying but i admit i do feel a lot better. this meditation really brought me into my inner world. i struggle with seated meditation or any meditation because i have so many stories and fake arguments and dreams and ideas in my head and to-dos, but surprisingly i stayed so relaxed and present and i didnt fall asleep (normally i do). i really appreciate this session i am so lucky to have found this. i am looking forward to doing this again and again.
Thank you for writing about your experience. Amazing things happen once we give ourselves permission to 'let go'. Deeply held tensions in the body can be released and manifest in many different ways, tears, tingling, twitching, itching, deep awareness of peace, colours and sleep when the body needs to rest. I love this form of meditation because I can let my body relax and move my attention inward. Each experience can be different, not necessarily so but it helps if we don't go into the meditation with expectations and just allow what needs to happen happen!
Hi Liam Thanks allot for this, it's amazing!!! I HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THIS GUIDED PRACTICE Can i use this practice if i have shyness and social phobia? I have been practicing spirituality for almost 2 years now and all my 7 chakra's are very active. I am a beginner of Yoga Nidra though and only done this Yoga Nidra practice for 5 days now. Is this Yoga Nidra for beginners also? Since doing this meditation my energy has been flowing 3 times stronger and increased silence. Although my fears are worrying about this, i am super relaxed and very focused and concentration is good and it's what i have been looking for but afraid my fears will take over and something will happen if energy gets stronger. My questions are: 1. Is this practice balanced and is it not un-grounded since this practice is focusing more on the third eye? 2. Can you do this practice without professional help, as were i stay there are no retreats? I am heart broken to stop this practice so PLEASE ANY ADVICE OR ANSWERS WILL BE GREAT. Thank you very much
If i have an expectation of something happening, and it doesn't turn out exactly as I had expected, I am setting myself up for a disappointment. In meditation the intention is to let go of trying to do something and allow myself to experience what happens as I follow the guided process. The guidance will move me from a very active mind to one that is still aware and more relaxed with what is happening in the moment. There is nothing to get, it's more a matter of experiencing what's happening inside my body, observing it with my relaxed mind. Each time we do this we allow the body to relax, we release the energy we normally consume in thinking and it moves back into the body to heal and regenerate us.
When all else failed I knew I could rely on your voice and guidance. A million thanks Liam. It feels like listening to an old friend.
