Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT), commonly referred to as Illinois Tech, is a private research university in Chicago, Illinois. Tracing its history to 1890, the present name was adopted upon the merger of the Armour Institute and Lewis Institute in 1940. The university has programs in architecture, business, communications, design, engineering, industrial technology, information technology, law, psychology, and science. It is classified among "R2: Doctoral Universities - High research activity". The university's faculty and alumni include 3 Nobel Prize laureates, 2 Fulbright Scholarship recipients, and 1 recipient of the National Medal of Technology.

I got ZERO dollars from all universities combined. None of them paid me anything.
I gotta say you sure enjoy looking at college campuses just like me. It’s a pretty fun hobby. Even if the campus is bland like IIT (fathers Alma mater) you still want to check it out which I respect. I do hope you ate the breaded steak sandwich at ricobeanes which is right by IIT (voted best in the world 2016)

Hmmm….I’ve never heard of this school. Interesting. I’m surprised each state doesn’t have an Institute of Technology. Although I think a lot of IT’s are private schools.
Great observation! I think all of them are private schools. I don't recall seeing any public IT in the US.
@@CampusMania Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Texas Tech are pubic. But Georgia Tech is the only one to use “Institute of Technology” title. VT uses Polytechnic and TT just uses Tech. I think Georgia Tech is on the list of Public Ivy’s.
Good catch on Georgia Tech! It's the only public IT school. I just checked though, it's not on the Public Ivy list. The University of Georgia is on the Public Ivy list somehow!@@donnie2832
