While recording for this video I actually still ran into quite a few Minos out there. I would say the Minos is far from "dead" and we'll probably see more start to run them once Newton is nerfed. My prediction for Newton is that something will eventually be done to the Choke ability - when this happens we'll probably see more players run Rook, Luchador and Minos.
I loved my minos ran it since it came out until I replaced it with the rook. But the minos was fun. Could grab beacons and clear beacons like you did. I wish it had 1 heavy weapon slot. It lacks fire power compared to every other titan and it's abilities aren't as good as a rook/luchador/indra/newton's. I hope the newton gets nerfed. Being lifted and killed at 800m is so frustrating.
Minos' reflector is actually pretty decent, and it can survive the barage of newtons for like 5 extra seconds compared to other bots, unfortunately, it has very little health and it's secondary ability is only a way to close distance on enemy. In my opinion it can be a decent brawler if fighting with ability active, otherwise, just run man 😂
I think this is why Luchador has faired well - because of it's Reflector Shield. I remember when I was running Newton I struggled more with Luchador than say Rook.

I've been playing Minos for years. The only thing that changes over time is the weaponry. This titan has always been and I hope will be a good one. This is a titan that you have to learn how to play, not attack as quickly as possible or pick up and shoot like last time. Minos will always be with me on virtually every battlefield.
I agree. I’ve been Ox Minos main for 2 years now and what you said is spot on. It may not be meta, but it will always be able to compete with them. It’s certainly not an easy Titan to play as it requires bit more skill and experience. Most Minos I come across die quickly because they just charge in blindly.
i run a minos with kraken vajra or what its called, had both minos and nodens maxed from before i took a 2 year break and the nodens gets extremely focused down by newtons while the minos at least has a chance to get close to them and just move around in general
We are definitely going to see some new titan modules coming this year, and they might prolong the life of older titans. I bet we're gonna see modules that lessen the effects of the rust and dot weapons, perhaps even a shieldbreaker module or pilot skill to counter ophions.
Being a top titan requires tanking a lot of dmg to resist the newton with fulgur and tonnans attacks. Rook and lucha are good options for these. Other titans are often one shot killed by the Newton with fulgur and tonnans
i've been using the Minos with Vajras for a long time and it performs really well for me, if I'm not getting sniped by the Fulgur/Tonans ofc. The speed really helps with capturing beacons Probably my favorite titan build in the game

Hi Adrian, Could you please make a video/suggestions on how to counter Newton for levels of mid masters. It drastically change a winning battle to a losing one if enemy team has one and ours none.
I adore my Ox Minos. Cyclones, guidance Op mechanic, focusing on speed skills, onslaught, cannibal, TAC, QS and northlight mothership for the grav amp and durability extender, I dont have a better option but run support hangar and like healing/shielding teammates so no bother. Blind messes up my build so being what it is, why dont lock on weapons hard counter that mechanic? I play from the flanks, where I can dash from beacon to beacon. Rooks I break their shields then power them down easily. Luchadors it's all about baiting the jump or charging when their reflect stops. Indra is a great duelist so that's always a fun toss up on who wins. Vajras seem to be a tad OP. Arthur surprisingly is my Nemesis! That shield, stampede doesn't seem to blow it off like a Rook or Heimdal. Ming and Metz drop like flies. Newton I have to close distance to, but nifty thing, Cyclone weapon model allows for Minos to "hook" it self so it doesnt get lifted in MANY places. It's my #1 survival bot because of how easy it is to jam that gun into something so I can cornershot them while they waste choke and tonan/fulgar on the wall Early Titan drop I focus on tearing up problem players who may have charged amps or 1v1 outduel titans as they drop. Midgame Titan drop, I push straight into their home and try to make sure they're all bunched up and focused on me so team can clear field. Late Titan drop I run the flanks and take out loki, skyros, lynx, imugi, anyone trying to sneak a beacon, or I post up on a flank beacon and single out titans to 1v1 if they're vulnerable to my build Very very very fun titan, Vajra probably best weapon, I dont have them though. Highest risk, definitely highest reward
Hey Adrian, I wanna suggest trying Indra with Fulgur and Tonans. I'm running the Indra setup while smashing those newtons. Experienced players that use Indra can be really deadly... I would appreciate it if you wanna do a video about it since it's such an awesome build!🙏🏼
The Minos is still a pretty decent titan for both the lower and higer leagues. It's 2 charges ,7 seconds of reflector and high speed help it to move around the map,dodge heavy firing,escape orbital strikes and survive under heavy firing when the charges have ran out. The reflector of the Minos lasts longer than the Luchador's reflector and unlike the Luchador,it can move around when its reflector is active. The health of the Minos is also pretty decent. So yeah,I belive that the Minos will be able to survive in 2024.
Hahaha 🖖 In champ was running the same (only low level & not any maxed pilot's skills like that) but im now trying 3 onslaughts & a repair.. if i can outsmart (or get lucky) a newton then its wrecked, but most matches there's more than one newton & it don't stand a chance.. its also my 2nd beacon runner, heaps of fun.. but ill have to go back to 2 repairs i think..

Uso en lugar del onslaught reactor un par de canibal con dos repair amplifier module, dos evora y una vara. Me encanta minos, solo falta terminar de maxear al piloto porque así como lo tengo llega a 890 k de vida saludos.
I'm still playing the Minos in 2024 and I'm not a p2w player. My stuff on it: 3 Cannibal Reactor 1 Titan Repair Amplifier 1 Lance 1 Vajra 1 Stellar Evora And I will try to change the Lance by a Krait so all my weapons will have a range of 500m.
I'm using Minos and performing insanely good. No other titan can withstand against it except newton ability( not newton itself ) when using wisely. And I hope they nerf ocho and ophion soon coz they are like 40-50 combined in every match from both sides Wich is I hate.
I've been using the Ox Minos as my primary Titan for years - I just recently got to Champion League. I have 1 Titan Repair and The Quantum Sensor. My damage output is not that effective though, sadly
I use Ox Minos with same module setup, 2 OR and 2 TRA with 2 Oolong Cinder-Stellar Evora weapons setup and low level titan pilot... Good enough if I'm careful but die quick with maxed Fulgur-Tonans Newton...
Right now I'm using my max minos but I'm trying to switch to my less leveled indra to see how it fairs againt all the newtons. I just need to manualy add two levels onto the pilot before I start using it. Im switching because the minos just isnt having enough firepower to deal with all of the luchadors im seeing. Thats another thing I've been seeing. All the rooks have disappeared for some reason and it like 66% of people are newtons and then the rest is devided between luchas and fellow minos players. Not sure why.
Rook I believed was nerfed which is why we're seeing less. I'm noticing more Indra now but I already said a while back Indra is more likely to survive multiple metas because it has an ability similar to that of Ravana. If we look at Ravana's history it's still surviving well to this day which is quite impressive.

I've been in many 1vs1s where I was a Luchador and my opponent was a maxed out Rook and I ended up winning - this was when both had their Titan Repair Amps charged. The reason why I lean more towards Luchador is because Luchador is older but it also has a Reflector Shield which is handy. The Rook while it's also strong was also recently nerfed which means it's currently on Pixonic's radar. If it's on their radar there is a possibility there may be more to come. Hope this helps!
I run an ox minos with varja and sonic at the top. 1v1 I an take any titan. Yeah the Newton choke does mess me up but I do catch alot of newton's by surprise cos the don't see me then all of a sudden I am behind them offloading
the minos is decent but there are better choices with it's only defense as a reflector that doesn't last as long as the choke duration and it's secondary are dashes that is basically useless against the newton.
I believe the choke ability should be nerfed to a pop up in the air for 3 seconds ability and another thing i believe that needs a change is the immune amplifier it basically promisses imunity from lockdown blast and freeze to the overpowered robots who reach max stack in the first 2 minutes of the game (take ocho for instance) and many robots and weapons that depend on these abilities to deal a considerable amount of damage are rendered useless what are your thoughts
I know minos is a good titan but then i kill so many so easily with my luchador(skill and timings) and i start to think they arent that good But then i see an absolutly skilled minos which kills me so i would day that its a good titan A small hp buff would be nice but other than that its a fun thing to use 😊

In the current meta Siren and Harpy are extremely vulnerable to the new Damper/Tamers weapons which seem to go straight through the reflector shields. I take them out in one volley all the time.
Adrian so i use the energy shotguns( kraken vajra) and this easily takes down the rook or even any tank for this to be extremely effective you have to brawl will the titans I be eating rooks with this build 12:29

I actually think about upgrading my minos instead of my rook because i feel like my rook dies very easily sometimes and since im a f2p its way cheaper to upgrade the minos
I run an Onslaught reactors, damage controller and two repair amps on my Rook, all maxed and it is extremely difficult to take down. Even for Newtons once my repair amps are working.
@@terra2805 but here is the problem, im f2p and as far as i know you cant get titan repair amps and onslaught reactors without gambling on the datapads or paying for them
@@aqop5548 rook already has self heal and a lot more fire power. I actually use the minos a lot and barely managed to to get two repair amps on him from older events, but the healing still doesn’t compare to the rook. Since you already have the rook just invest in it, you’re gonna regret not doing so.
Ox Minos is definitely one of the more fun titans to run. I haven't used mine since pilots were introduced as other pilots took priority. I mean is it worth maxing a pilot just because it's fun to use? Sadly I think not. I'd rather level up a pilot for a more effective titan like Newton/Rook/Luchador.
I think "Newton's Choke ability" isn't the only problem, Fulgars & Tonans have way too much range (800 m) and deal way too much damage per shot while absolutely ignoring the Minos Reflector. Honestly, i don't see Minos being viable in 2024 unless Pixo does something about the range of those weapons and damage per shot.
I have 140 lvl minos and 110 lvl rook without pilot. While 80lvl pilot for minos . I am in Champions league . I also do have a luchador (unupgraded) . Can you give me some suggestions on what to run and should I continue upgrading my rook or should i invest in Luchador or indra.
Out of the Luchador, Rook and Indra I think the Luchador might be the strongest. This is also factoring in how Rook was nerfed. Mind you… Luchador was also nerfed but the effect wasn't as noticeable as that of the Rook. If we take this into account then we know Pixonic has an eye on Rook so the chances of that getting a nerf in the future is pretty high. Indra I think will be able to survive the most metas simply because of it's ability. If we look at Ravana it's one of the very few robots in the game that has survived multiple metas even the Ocho to some extent and that's all because of it's Transcendence ability which is very similar to Indra. In your situation I would probably just finish maxing out the Rook since you're already at level 110. Also a lot will depend on what weapons you have too.
Those can work although I actually think Luchador is the better Titan. You have to keep in mind Rook was nerfed recently so the probability of more nerfs are somewhat higher than that of Luchador (which I believe also received a nerf but it's not as noticeable).

Minos is just inferior to luchador and rook in basically every way. Even the indra will destroy a Minos in a brawl.

Minos is one of the better Titans in FFA as well because you can really make use of that speed to get kills.

Yup for Icarus robots damage dealing for task I too started using Minos from that day and still been using.. I don't have repair amps so i play safe..

Minos still a good titan, only need some extra care in attacking range meta like newton.

the minos is decent but there are better choices with it's only defense as a reflector that doesn't last as long as the choke duration and it's secondary are dashes that is basically useless against the newton.
I believe the choke ability should be nerfed to a pop up in the air for 3 seconds ability and another thing i believe that needs a change is the immune amplifier it basically promisses imunity from lockdown blast and freeze to the overpowered robots who reach max stack in the first 2 minutes of the game (take ocho for instance) and many robots and weapons that depend on these abilities to deal a considerable amount of damage are rendered useless what are your thoughts
I know minos is a good titan but then i kill so many so easily with my luchador(skill and timings) and i start to think they arent that good
But then i see an absolutly skilled minos which kills me so i would day that its a good titan
A small hp buff would be nice but other than that its a fun thing to use 😊

Hey Adrian is siren worth it cuz in champs I'm seeing alot of Harpy's and sirens . So I'm curious to know if it's worth it. If so what is the best build to insure the bots survival
In the current meta Siren and Harpy are extremely vulnerable to the new Damper/Tamers weapons which seem to go straight through the reflector shields. I take them out in one volley all the time.
I changed my Minos for pve, and got all the on kill activate pilot skills. Let’s see how that works
Adrian so i use the energy shotguns( kraken vajra) and this easily takes down the rook or even any tank for this to be extremely effective you have to brawl will the titans

Minos is stronger than Nodens. Luchador is stronger than both.
I actually think about upgrading my minos instead of my rook because i feel like my rook dies very easily sometimes and since im a f2p its way cheaper to upgrade the minos
Invest in the rook. It’s the best thing in terms of survivability overall
I run an Onslaught reactors, damage controller and two repair amps on my Rook, all maxed and it is extremely difficult to take down. Even for Newtons once my repair amps are working.
@@terra2805 but here is the problem, im f2p and as far as i know you cant get titan repair amps and onslaught reactors without gambling on the datapads or paying for them
Rook needs TRA less than Minos because of shielding
@@aqop5548 rook already has self heal and a lot more fire power. I actually use the minos a lot and barely managed to to get two repair amps on him from older events, but the healing still doesn’t compare to the rook. Since you already have the rook just invest in it, you’re gonna regret not doing so.
i wish i didn’t sell my minos, whenever i played it i felt like a boss just charging through every one.

Ox Minos is definitely one of the more fun titans to run. I haven't used mine since pilots were introduced as other pilots took priority.
I mean is it worth maxing a pilot just because it's fun to use? Sadly I think not. I'd rather level up a pilot for a more effective titan like Newton/Rook/Luchador.
I maxed a pilot for Minos, makes the difference. I have Rook and Indra maxed. I still playing with Minos as my first option.

I think "Newton's Choke ability" isn't the only problem, Fulgars & Tonans have way too much range (800 m) and deal way too much damage per shot while absolutely ignoring the Minos Reflector.
Honestly, i don't see Minos being viable in 2024 unless Pixo does something about the range of those weapons and damage per shot.
I have 140 lvl minos and 110 lvl rook without pilot. While 80lvl pilot for minos . I am in Champions league . I also do have a luchador (unupgraded) . Can you give me some suggestions on what to run and should I continue upgrading my rook or should i invest in Luchador or indra.
Out of the Luchador, Rook and Indra I think the Luchador might be the strongest. This is also factoring in how Rook was nerfed. Mind you… Luchador was also nerfed but the effect wasn't as noticeable as that of the Rook. If we take this into account then we know Pixonic has an eye on Rook so the chances of that getting a nerf in the future is pretty high. Indra I think will be able to survive the most metas simply because of it's ability. If we look at Ravana it's one of the very few robots in the game that has survived multiple metas even the Ocho to some extent and that's all because of it's Transcendence ability which is very similar to Indra.
In your situation I would probably just finish maxing out the Rook since you're already at level 110. Also a lot will depend on what weapons you have too.
It's obsolete because the ochos have a stronger push deflector than them.
Adrian do you suggest I buy a rook now? I have the kraken vajra and kraken maha vajra if I wanted to put it on the rook.
Those can work although I actually think Luchador is the better Titan. You have to keep in mind Rook was nerfed recently so the probability of more nerfs are somewhat higher than that of Luchador (which I believe also received a nerf but it's not as noticeable).

I have Ox Minos in champion and you cant use it unless you stay 800M away from enemies...
I attack very close with my Minos using sonic weapons. And I'm in champion league.
