I really want to try this green screen idea. I tried hanging a blanket in the past, but as you said, the wrinkles really wreak havoc! Also, those little remotes are really handy, and work well, especially considering the price. I used one to control my hydraulic winch on my welding truck. It's so nice not having to walk back and forth to the controls.
Yeah those little remotes are very cheap and easy to use in all kind of projects. If you have time give this Green screen a try, it works really well. Thanks for watching!
Great that you made the color changing thing. I relly wanted to see how it will look. you should also make it that it will slowly go throught the whole color hue.
This is a really cool idea. Good to see the lights don't colour your shirt. Something that concerns me is if you had your face on camera, then you would see the green LED ring reflected in your eyes. It's common when people use a white LED ring that you can see the white ring in their eyes. I wonder if you could use something like an ambient light rejecting projector screen like those used for ultra short throw laser projectors so you could have a light above the screen, behind the subject, and the screen reflects that towards the camera
Awesome thanks for the followup. I am piecing three of these together and when overlayed on one another they dont show a seem. So i think it should work. Do you notice any finger prints on your material if you touch it? I got some cheap panels for the one I'm making and it shows the finger prints with a camera flash. We'll see how it goes when used with the LEDs though. Might not matter as much I dunno.
Yeah the material is kinda fragile and should not be touched too much, I've got little smudges here and there on mine and it doesn't seem to affect it much. Thanks for watching!
Merci Yvan !! Superbe video ! J'ai commandé tout le stock nécessaire: Toile, leds. Je voulais essayer avec un Esp32, mais pour le moment sans succès ! Anyway, je vais tester avec un Arduino et plus tard avec un ESP32. Y'a comme un problème de voltage level !
You can check out the tutorial page here: brainy-bits.com You can find the Arduino code and more information. Hope that helps and thank you for watching.
The material will reflect the light at any angle, doesn't have to be straight on. Check out the webpage of this project here for more info on the material used: www.brainy-bits.com/diy-retroreflective-green-screen Hope that helps and thanks for watching

i thought about the same issue when i watched the first video. Thanks for the followup video.
That's impressive and a little surprising.
thanks for the follow-up, Yvan.
Oh, and cool shirt!
I guess all Canadians need to have at least one piece of clothing with the Canadian flag on it :) Thanks for watching and Cool Channel btw.

Can tell me how I can change the color of leds in arduino ?
You can check out the tutorial page here: brainy-bits.com You can find the Arduino code and more information. Hope that helps and thank you for watching.
Ivan! do you make the green and blue led lights? I want one!
Are there links to products needed?
Hello Ivan, would you sell me the rf control and the led ring? Thanks
yes. can you sell us these?? Thanks
Does this material work if you shoot at an angle or does it need to be straight on towards the camera?

@@BrainybitsCanada Thank you for the reply! I'm VERY interested in this!
