Thomann are good fellas... A few years ago i was really hunting for one of the early run handmade Hagstrom Northen Series Super Swedes from Bohemia. . . And one of the lead sales people got with their inventory folks and hunted up a Northen Series prototype Super from when the line was just being introduced and demoed to the industry at a few guitar shows just prior to the initial launch of the line. It's a beautiful unique piece from 2011, one they forgot they had sitting by itself in inventory, barely played, unused for a few years. They found it and let me know they had it along with some pics and a price which i negotiated down a small amount to an amount i was happy with. When i got the guitar i was really pleased, it was a rare version of their burst called VSB--vintage sunburst--as opposed to the more typical TSB, tobacco sunburst, that they mostly made... The vsb with it's more subtle vintage LP style faded cherry burst, with the lovely figuring on the thick maple cap, make this handmade unique beauty quite a nice Hagstrom score from the boys at Thomann, a nice compliment to ask my vintage swedes and Vikings and Super Swedes from the seventies and eighties.
Nice demo! Have you tried also the Hagstrom ultra max? Ignoring the different specs (of course the super swede has higher quality components), how would you compare the two models in terms of sound and tone?
Good sounding guitar. I owned a different Hagstrom a number of years back. It was a F200P, I think. I never really bonded with the synthetic fretboard though!
@@terraincognitaband7273 Hello! I really wanted to buy this guitar, but I'm not 100% sure because of the neck. Normally, I don't like necks with a glossy finish. Is it "sticky" or more like a satin neck? Thank you!
@@David6Simao from my perspective, it's still glossy but it actually plays flawlessly, your hand just flys over the fretboard without sticking (maybe it's because my palm is alway a little bit sweaty)

I love mine
Hagstrom is always flying under the radar, while making good guitars. Especially in the Stated they are rare.

How thick is the body ? Is it as slim as the hagströ ultra max ?
Also this one it's 4.4 kg?
got one, they are actually pretty lightweight. less than a gibson lespaul. dont know how much it is, but it feels light.
