Sorry to hear about your pattern struggles, but it really was validating for me! I’m currently struggling with the edge of a shawl I’m designing, because I wanted it to look a certain way but I kept running out of yarn. I kept telling myself that I’m such an inefficient (“bad”) designer because of it so it’s so helpful to hear others having the same struggles. Hearing that you too rip back and push forward, made my day!
It's always the math LOL! One of the reasons I share the bad with the good is for the very reason you stated. If you try to only show the pretty parts then other people feel bad if their life isn't all sunshine and roses.
Hi Barbara! I have a question for your next live. It’s about finding the good tension with summer yarns (no wool yarns, linen and linen blend yarns). With wool, I’m usually on the gauge, but with summer yarns… Nop! Could you tell me when will be your next live? Hélène (LeftyLoup on Ravelry), from Quebec, Canada

I can't promise I'll remember until the end of the month, but I will think on this.
