Nostalgia. I used to live in Des Moines Iowa over 30 years ago. Fished at Red Rock a few times. Loots like a lot has changed now. Great fishing spot... when fish bites. Do they still allow people to fish on the other side of the dam? One time, no fish on the lower side so we climbed up the hill, crossed the highway to the other side and fished right at where the water drains down and caught so many if was difficult getting the fish back down the hill. I still remembered catching one up there that's so big it broke my line in 3 seconds... was thinking could be a striped bass because those can get really big.
I haven’t never fished the backside of the dam. I’m not sure. I’ve only fished the spillway side. Lots of big fish in there like flathead catfish, buffalos, and Asian carp
I’ve fished all spots you been. Good Thing I release my catch so you can take them with you. You don’t keep fish from these rivers. Full of toxins. Over all good video.
I try not to eat fish from water like that, including Mississippi River and St. Croix River, it's not safe for a long-term living life. You all should have learned about it
In my opinion it's ok, I think this way, even though the water we buy from the store purified water, is not just water there are different kinds oh shit in there
This place looks familiar. Lol 319 baby.
How deep water are they? I live in Cr.

Where's the location at 3:40 below the railroad? And what time of year did you guys went? Been there several times no bites.
Yes. Mid May
5 hours driving from twins cities, I rather go to Nd😅😅😅😅
Wow! Cool fishing! 😊
yeah it was a very tough outing for us this weekend. water way too high and fast!!! good thing you got some at least!!!
You’re late, red rock may be better
What kind of lure are you using?
Flukes white or chartreuse color is good
What rod power and how much lb line? Any lures would do it or how heavy the sinkers? Can you pin the location brother please? Thank you very much!
12 pound line on medium heavy rod will be good. We use 3/8oz jighead but i think 1/2 is better. Look up Burlington dam Iowa city
Good luck on your fishing day
You went there for whitebass? Not worth it
