I like that how even with no voices these characters feel so human.
All Romcom anime’s should be taking nites
It's basically the same effect with Wall-e. I often jokingly say that wall-e is "the only romantic movie I can actually stand watching". Wall-e and Eva portray love in such a genuine and human way that I haven't really seen replicated since. It's funny, these freaking robots who can't even talk were able to portray a much more intimate and emotional form of romance than any other romantic movie I've seen.
feeI feel like the way romance is portrayed in media paints a really superficial picture on what true love actually is. "Romantic" media puts a lot of emphasis on sensual, physical, or sexual activities, and they tend to completely skip over emotional intimacy. I feel like emotional intimacy is one of the most important aspects of any relationship. I feel like a lot of that genuine emotional intimacy lies in these little moments, like paying attention to what your partner likes, what type of music they're into, what clothes they feel most comfortable wearing, what they're afraid of, being genuinely interested in their dreams and aspirations, etc. Most romantic media has nothing of this, instead the protagonists just fall in love because they found each other sexy, or because of some other weird superficial reason.
I feel like true love isn't about these big demonstrations of love like buying your partner super expensive stuff for example. True love lies in these "microaffections" as someone else put it. All these tiny little everyday things that collectively add up to something much more beautiful and genuine than any exaggerated romantic gesture. This short films absolutely NAILS that feeling, it's just microaffections back to back for a full 30 mins. These little mundane of affection were so beautiful that they legit made me cry. This is much more engaging and emotional than those silly and tropey romantic films that are only made for horny teenagers.

As a person who has tried making comics, making a single panel can be HARD but stuff like this which is hand drawn and stop motion is ABSOLUTELY CRAZY! Some people don’t understand how hard some things are to draw. This is a absolute MASTERPIECE! Every second at least 7 drawings are put together and this FILM is almost 30 minutes! So many drawings which all look beautiful and have such a amazing story is simply just crazy. Thank you for making this film and thank you to whoever has read this!

if there are at least 7 drawings per second and this video is 28:59, or 1739 seconds. That would mean that there are AT LEAST 12173 drawings made for this video. Each one being hand drawn and different compared to the rest.

It's a thing of beauty. It's unfortunate, I met someone who liked me and I liked her back but, we weren't exactly right for each other, and didn't click that well. She's avoidant and distant whenever I try to get close, and so our status is in purgatory whenever we meet briefly. I had for the first time such a strong dream about her today. We aren't right for each other and nothing is coming of this so I fear I have to be disciplined enough to move on.

I have been in a relationship for nearly a year now, and I have moments like these with her too. This just perfectly sums up how fulfilling it is when you meet someone who just works with you. Everything about them just slots into place, and whether it be your first love or one of many, this portrays that feeling of liberation, peace, happiness. All without a single word spoken throughout. I started watching this channel 1 year ago. I was really depressed and been through alot of heartbreak so typed in RUclips "what is love?". I started watching the beautiful puung animations and I cried. It then became my favorite thing to come home a dream of love because I felt like I knew what it was. I felt the butterflies of romance again everytime I watched your animations. I have now been in a 9month relationship with who I feel like is the love of my life. Love is having the time of your life when doing nothing just as much as your doing something. Love is locking eyes with the one you love and smiling just to smile because there they are. Love is doing your own thing while they are also doing their own thing and still appreciating the time together. Love is being goofy or punny and laughing at it all. Love transcends hate or anger. Love is when you can talk to each other even after being angry but agreeing that you don't have to agree and accepting likes and dislikes.
Love is even stronger when your lonely and not having this. You can give yourself all the love you can get even from this. Enjoy yummy food in peace and cherish the taste of it all. You can jam to your favorite music and be in your own world. You can treat yourself and enjoy the silence and create your own happiness.
I've been through it all friends. Love is right there. With someone or with yourself. You just need to embrace it and let go.

This made so happy. I haven't seen my boyfriend in a while because he's literally getting tortured with the amount of work in his school. But this just reminds me of those nice dates we go on. The little caffes, nice walks, watching movies in bed, just having a good conversation. It made me realize that I'm truly experiencing something so lovely. Someone I want around in places that mean a lot to me. Someone who can just sit in silence next to me and enjoy it because I'm there. I miss him even tho we talk every day. He's looking forward to us moving together and so am I. It's just nice to have someone that you're secure about staying there.

I've never, in my life, watched anything on RUclips more profound than this. I don't think you could show what "love" looks like any better than this video. Every small detail; the intimacy; the way the two characters treat each other; even the tiniest moments where they get lost in each other's eyes open my own to feelings I didn't even realize I had forgotten. Just a half hour ago I was eating crackers in bed and now here I am, in both euphoria and distraught, thinking back on times like these I myself went through, and never stopped to take it in.

Every time I come back to this video, I get overwhelmed by a strong sensation of sadness and my eyes start pouring. The emotion exhaling through your art is pure, innocent, powerful and very warm, like a cozy blanket in the winter. It pains me I have no one to share this with, but the hope one day I will finally find my special one keeps me going, just so this beautiful miracle called love can be reenacted once more.
Watching this animation really made me shed a tear as I realized that the whole time I had missed out on attempting to converse, now lonely as I’ll ever be so, that includes everyone else. This shows us that there’s more to life, not simply a birth without consent and that we should see ourselves without purpose in this world. Love is something you’ll come across one day, though not expected. All aside, everybody needs some love and to not be left alone while their limited days past.
I watched this with my boyfriend beside me watching his own stuff...I thought how similar we are to these two. Holding hands while we each do our own thing, make each other laugh till we almost pee, snuggle up close and warm. When a problem arises, we talk. It was turbulent when we first got together cos he had no experience with autism and took my autistic traits and behaviours very personally. But he took the time to learn about autism inside and out, and now is the only person in the world I trust with my life. I started crying when the video ended..he was already gently petting my arm, but quickly enveloped me in his arms as I cried about how much I love him, how happy he makes me and how much I appreciate everything he does for me. 🥰
We met in gmod (a multiplayer sandbox game) where I owned and ran a FNAF themed server and he clicked on mine by accident. He stuck around and I had this weird feeling...somehow I *knew* he was gonna be Important to me. I just knew. We hung around in the game a lot and soon I was crushing hard. There's an age gap, I'm the older one, but to each other we seem ageless. I never think about it or the passage of time. We exist together as two people, but also one person. He is the best thing that ever happened to me and I helped him heal from coming from a very abusive home. I helped him become his own person and he felt ready to come out as bi and a femboy. Seriously, he's the most beautiful person you've ever seen, inside and out.
His deep blue eyes still make my heart flutter, 7 years in ✨💖✨ his gorgeous long hair is so soft and beautiful, he's tall and thin and I'm short and round, and he loves me despite my flaws, and he loves them too. We talk about behaviours that hurt us and we change them. He is endlessly patient with my shenanigans, comforts me (I'm a naturally sad person with depression and chronic severe anxiety), and can even put the breaks on an autistic meltdown.
To me, he is perfectly imperfect. Funny, chaotic, very very funny, thoughtful, insightful, kind and gentle, brave, protective, empathetic, open, mostly honest lol, and endlessly patient and sweet. He is the tall, dark 90s-esque gothic grunge boy with spikes and chains. I am the small pastel girl with pink hair down to my butt, wearing a white frilly dress with a pastel rainbow cardigan, my little pony tights and bag, and pompoms in my hair lol. We are two sides of the same moon. Together, yet separate.
And I simply can't wait to grow old with him ✨💖✨🥰🥰🥰🥺🥺🥺

I used to watch this a year ago thinking about my partner of that time, he recently just broke up with me. I don’t know why am I feeling so heartbroken, because; I would send him these videos from this artist, and told him that I saw us in these two characters, but he didn’t really… cared about my comment? after going through my first relationship with my ex, i simply found i wasn’t ready to “love” somebody. i was (and still) at a young age, and the fact we were even “loving” people is a little bizarre. but watching these kind of animations makes me realize the fun times i really did have with him, and yeah i’ll miss him, but i know it’s important to take care of my well being. i’m truly excited for the day i feel like this, but instead of chasing it now, i’d rather have it come to me so i can take the time to enjoy the time and people around me before i devote my life to my partner. it’s always never too young to love someone, but always remember that you can’t love just cause you want to. sometimes what you truly need is time and patience, and if you or someone you love can’t handle that, that’s okay. (note: i actually broke up with my ex recently and i always wondered why i felt so miserable with him even though he was a great boyfriend. i thought i came to the final conclusion, i must have just fallen out of love. but once i broke up with him and took a break from love, i finally truly realized i simply just wasn’t ready. i’m still so young, and i still have a whole life ahead of me. just because people around me were getting into relationships doesn’t mean i had to.)

As someone who found their first (and hopefully last) partner just last year, I’m only around 10 minutes in and yet this video captures that immense, soul-warming feeling of stumbling into someone and realising they just… complete you. It’s an incredibly hard emotion to describe, but anyone who had their first kiss with a committed partner will understand the feeling of pure joy, contentment and overall wholeness that you feel in that moment and so many others, and this video manages to capture it almost entirely where I can barely describe it in this novel of a comment.
I truly believe this video is one of the purest forms of art I’ve ever come across, and I mean that. It perfectly encapsulates one of the most fundamental, powerful and integral human experiences - love. And that’s all art is ever meant to do - capture and evoke thought and/or emotion.

ive always been so hesitant with love, feeling that maybe love is so powerful you get blinded by it, feeling that you love someone, turns out you actually dont, and keeps going on and on for any person you meet, and now having experienced regrets in love, im just restraining myself whenever i want love, because i have felt pain from getting tricked by love and regrets by love, weather that my view of love is right or really wrong. but this animation kind of toned down the stress of love through my life and justifying if i want love or not, Thank you for making this puuung, my heart was warm through out this. This really makes me think of what the first 2 years of my relationship has been so far. You start off just getting to know each other and become friends, then when you start to progress it, that person really becomes apart of your life and it's really a beautiful thing. I also noticed most of their dates weren't expensive or they were free, they really were just doing life together and that's the beauty of it. This definitely rekindled my hope in humanity and made me tear up at moments, beautiful work of art.

I wish I knew how much time had passed in this animation. So many of the things that happened in this animation happened within the first 3 months of my last relationship. A part of why we broke up was because of how fast things were going. I fell in love quickly and wanted to express it in as many ways as possible and as fast as possible. It backfired greatly once I did and said too much. I ended up losing the only partner who cared for me as much as I did over a lack of self control and faulty morals instilled by past trauma and those around me. She cared for me enough after we broke up to support me and lead me on the right path to changing my morals and focusing on the present and future instead of the past, but all of the arguments and things that happened after and during our relationship caused us to say goodbye. Now, I'm alone, but on the path to proper maturity. Hoping that once I've truly matured, I can be loved.

I just really want to thank puuung animation, these (generally 15 minute) animations I had found in a time where I had recently been clinically diagnosed with depression alongside anxiety, I was dealing with a lot at the time and would constantly be scrolling through social media platforms for some kind of relatability for what I was going through. Eventually I had given up trying to find videos to empathize my thoughts, replacing what most peoples friends would help you get through and I came across puuung animations after hopelessly typing up things to do with love. These "love is in small things animations" altered my world completely ,obviously it didn't cure my depression, but it changed the way I look at things in life, from friendship to love. Eventually I found love, and my depression now is a lot less severe and I've taken up my old passion again, drawing. I cannot tell you how many times I've drawn these characters.. tysm puuung
