Listening to it, I envision the singer being a person that's been put through years and years of constant stress/psychological pressure and abuse, to the point that they don't have the energy/motivation left in them to care about anything in general anymore. A tired person put through so much more than they should've been, someone that's been wrung completely dry of their trust, of their energy, someone that just simply wants to be left alone
