      Amen...keeping the sabbath is the Law of God.
      Although the first commandment towers above all.
      'Thou shalt have no other gods before me.' Ex 20:3
      And the very close relative is the very next commandment.
      'Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven Image...Thou shalt not serve them, for I the LORD thy God am a JEALOUS God.' Ex 20:4-5
      Our Bible records that there is no greater abomination than Idolatry.
      Take note
      'And brought me in the visions of God...to the door of the inner gate...where was the seat of the IMAGE of JEALOUSY, which provoketh to JEALOUSY.' Ezekiel 8:3
      Sister White pronounces that this scene of Ezekiel chapter 8 an 9 will be literally enacted in the final scenes of earth.
      In particular it involves the church.
      Our denomination has enshrined an Image of Jealousy within the house of God.
      Our church has transgressed the first and second commandment.
      How so you ask?
      It became official in 1980.We now submit with bended knee to 'another god'.
      That very god is the dreaded god of the universal church.
      We now oblige to the triune god.
      God have mercy.

Don't be baited into a live debate, look how he operates, misleading and rude. But thete is plenty of misinformation in his response video for you to dissect and expose if you feel the need to or not. Sidenote: in his video, him and his minion claimed SDA believe Sabbath was established in heaven before creation of world. Is that true? I did some research, the Book of Jubilees says Sabbath was in heaven aswell. Verses below:
      Jubilees 2:18
      [18]And all the angels of the presence, and all the angels of sanctification, these two great classes -He hath bidden us to keep the Sabbath with Him in heaven and on earth.
      Jubilees 2:30
      [30]And they shall not bring in nor take out from house to house on that day; for that day is more holy and blessed than any jubilee day of the jubilees; on this we kept Sabbath in the heavens before it was made known to any flesh to keep Sabbath thereon on the earth.
      Jubilees 50:9
      [9]Ye shall do no work whatever on the Sabbath day save what ye have prepared for yourselves on the sixth day, so as to eat, and drink, and rest, and keep Sabbath from all work on that day, and to bless the Lord your God, who has given you a day of festival and a holy day: and a day of the holy kingdom for all Israel is this day among their days forever.

      Christians Celebrating the Resurrection of Yeshua on Sunday, doesn't mean they are worshipping another God. Rather, if they believe the Sabbath to be on Sunday, then they are Worshipping another God.
      The Modern Greek word for Sunday, Κυριακή, is derived from Κύριος (Kyrios, Lord) also, due to its liturgical significance as the day commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, i.e. The Lord's Day.
      Just like how Sabbath & Saturday in Greek mean "Σάββατο".

    Modern society seems to have forgotten the idea of sanctification and holiness. As Christians we are being transformed into Christ’s character. 2 Cor. 3:18. Accordingly, this process begins when we are born again.
    However, many modern Christians have their senses dulled and limit communion with the Holy Spirit. This leads to a luke warm relationship. As Christians we need to renew our commitment to Christ via answering the call of the Holy Spirit and walk as Christ walked.

      ...as to the righteousness which is in the Law, found blameless. [7] But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. [8] More than that, I count all things to be loss because of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ [9] and be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own which is from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God upon faith,
      "not having a righteousness of my own which is from the Law"...
      And...

      It's the sabbath of the Lord, his Holy day which he blessed and sanctified for man.

    • @TruthSeeker-dj9xm
      @TruthSeeker-dj9xm 6 месяцев назад

      The meaning of blessed and sanctified does not mean Law or a commandment.
      Do not steal the 4th commandment that was given to the Israelites, for you think you keep the sabbath, compared to those that the sabbath was given to (Israel) that did not keep.
      One who says that they keep the sabbath is a liar.
      The sabbath is a shadow, the real sabbath is through Christ who fulfilled the Law and is the real rest.

    Amen Greg!! Yes I feel that way, even if I’m a tad upset when Friday comes there is a calm joy, just waiting for the sun to rest. Now this is the love of Yeshua. No debating remember what Paul said in Romans. Let Sam and others debate they need it to puff them selves up. Remember, gate keepers play that position because they not sure of their salvation. Although I don’t share all of the same beliefs as Adventist, however I understand and i always loved Greg’s teachings. My heart’s eyes tells me if you love Yeshua at least you have that part righteous. Our job is to gather, not choose.

      Presumably, you are referring to Jerry’s comment (?), people tend to shop more on Sabbath (Saturday: as it is set up by the world to be that way), so not wanting to break the Sabbath is more important to you, or selling on the Sabbath is more important to you. Which one?
      Jesus Christ did say, in John 14:15-31 GNT - “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, who will stay with you forever.”
      Also, in 1 John 5:1-4
      Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
      By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
      *For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous*
      For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”

    The 🐉 papacy openly admits that her symbol or mark of authority is Sunday as a holy day. Notice the following section from a Catholic catechism:
    “Question: Have you any other way of proving that the Church has power to institute festivals of precept?”
    “Answer: Had she not such power, she could not have done that in which all modern religionists agree with her - she could not have substituted the observance of Sunday the first day of the week, for the observance of Saturday the seventh day, a change for which there is no Scriptural authority.” 🐍
    Stephen Keenan, A Doctrinal Catechism [FRS No. 7.], (3rd American ed., rev.: New York, Edward Dunigan & Bro., 1876), p. 174.
    So, the papacy is here saying that it changed Sabbath observance from Saturday to Sunday and that almost all churches accepted the new holy day.
    Now, compare the papacy’s mark with God’s 🦅mark:
    “I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the Lord that sanctify them” (Ezekiel 20:12). “It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth” (Exodus 31:17).
    God gave us His seventh day Sabbath as a glorious sign of His power to create and His power to sanctify (convert and save) us. In the Bible, the words seal, sign, mark, and token are used interchangeably (Genesis 17:11 with Romans 4:11 and Revelation 7:3 with Ezekiel 9:4.)
    God’s sign, the Sabbath, represents His holy power to rule as Creator and Savior. Revelation 7:1-3 says it will be written upon the foreheads (minds, Hebrews 10:16) of His people. And Hebrews 4:4-10 confirms this by saying that when we enter His rest (receive salvation), we should keep His seventh-day Sabbath holy as a symbol, or mark, of salvation.

Christ fulfilled every law for us, and then said "It is finished" on the cross. Christ has removed the yoke from us trying to be pleasing to God by keeping the law. You sir. Are placing a yoke on people. Remember, in the Old Testament, only the King, Priests, and Prophets had the Holy Spirit of God so following the law for those people and others who did not have the Holy Spirit, needed to keep and follow the law to please God. Now, anyone who has the Holy Spirit of God, have a constant "sabbath" or "abiding in Christ" and are resting in His finished work of fulfilling all of God's for us, even on the cross. Trying to keep the sabbath, is not freedom "in Christ." Also, the 10 Commandments were written by God, to prove to mankind, that they could not keep God's law....and would need a savior who could fulfill all the law.......Jesus Christ.

      For Christ is the end [objective] of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
      {Romans 10:4}
      That the righteousness of the law *might be fulfilled in us* who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
      For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but *they that are after the Spirit* the things of the Spirit.
      For to be carnally minded is death; but *to be spiritually minded is life and peace*
      Because *the carnal mind is enmity against God* for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

    I was reading Acts 15:11 would love to hear your take on it.
    It is true that the keeping of the Law was not a matter of Salvation by the council.
    However I also see that they also decided not to require the Gentiles to keep the Law of Moses
    as a matter of obedience. On other words that the council agreed on 2 things:
    1: Salvation comes through faith in Jesus
    2:Gentiles are not required to obey the Law of Moses, they gave the Gentiles "no greater burden" than the
    four restrictions listed in the letter (Acts15:28)

      The 1st couple of verses show that the issue was about _Pharisaical converts demanding that Christians be physically circumcised to be saved_ . The Sabbath didn't come from Moses, nor was it even part of the Sinai Covenant like anti-Sabbatarians like to contend. It came from God, and it's _His_ law. (2) Acts 15:21 clearly shows James stating that every Gentile convert was educated from the Law _every Sabbath_ .

      Your version of Acts 15:21
      "clearly shows James stating that every Gentile convert was educated from the Law every Sabbath"
      What scripture says
      Acts 15:21 "MOSES PREACHED IN SYNAGOGUES ON A SABBATH"
      For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”
      (Does it say preaching the Law? Or preach him?) Preaching the Gospel on every Sabbath, not Law! It was hard for them as the Jews seek to kill the Apostles of Christ because it was in the covenant of Moses to do so.
      Why? Because Jesus said to them "my Father works on the Sabbath and I do Also.
      Those who worked on a Sabbath, must be put to death, that was in the OT...
      This later explains their faith in Acts 15:26
      Which I mentioned below.
      You ought to read more to have context and not cancel the narrative.
      Acts 15:22 "CHURCH SENDS CHOSEN MEN"
      Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren.
      Acts 15:23 "ADDRESSING THE GENTILES"
      They wrote this letter by them:
      The apostles, the elders, and the brethren,
      To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia:
      Greetings.
      Acts 15:24 "WORDS TROUBLE SOULS ABOUT CIRCUMCISION AND KEEPING THE LAW"
      Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, “You must be circumcised and keep the law”-to whom we gave no such commandment-
      Acts 15:25 "UNIFIED PURPOSE IGNITES"
      it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
      Acts 15:26 "DARING FAITH IN ACTION"
      men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
      Acts 15:27 "MESSAGE SENT BY MOUTH"
      We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth.
      Acts 15:28 "HOLY SPIRIT'S WILL OF NO ADDED DEMANDS"
      For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things:
      Acts 15:29 "THE ONLY 4 DEMANDS REQUESTED AND YOU WILL DO WELL"
      that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well.
      Farewell.

      We do not keep God's law for salvation. It is our duty as servants of righteousness (living right).
      And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
      {1 John 2:3}
      For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
      {1 John 5:3}
      “If any man will do his will, [obedience] he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”
      {John 7:17}
      “Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

    I don't believe that God Instituted the sabbath in Genesis...
    When you say he instituted it in Genesis 2:2-3 are you saying he made a
    rule, some sort of statute?
    However I do believe that God blessed and sanctified it,
    So I perceive it a day to Glorify, to worship and a gift for man.
    Not man to be bound by it via Law.
    After all that is what sanctify means.
    480 years later in Exodus It then became Law for the Israelites as penalty for not observing it was death by stoning.
    I believe it was there for them to set them apart from other nations at that time, while other neighboring nations
    did not observe the Sabbath.
    They the Chosen people did not follow in Yahweh's Statutes,
    an all knowing God knew nobody could and it's only purpose was to make way
    for the only one who kept it which is Jesus.
    Moses and his followers lacked faith.
    Moses died in the wilderness never to reach the promise land
    and the Israelites wanted to return to Egypt going back to Slavery,
    talk about no faith after all that he done for them like the plagues
    splitting of the sea, sheeesh!
    Pretty sad story but someone came for the lost sheep of Israel
    Glory to Jesus for coming for them, his promise is a promise.
    Now he came and then was raised, the Israelite temple got destroyed
    the veil was torn in 2 so that we can pray to the father through Jesus.
    We our bodies are now the Temple of truth in Jesus Christ.
    There is no Church built with hands that can claim to hold truth but those with the Holy
    Spirit who accepted Jesus's full atonement of what he did on the Cross, appeared once
    for all to do away with sin Heb 9:25-26
    I do believe the Law of Moses was a true shadow but not the true form, The law cannot cleanse us
    once and for all
    Heb 10:1
    Jesus and his Father worked on the Sabbath and is always working, I don't think he sinned,
    I fully accept Jesus Christ as my savior he is above the Law as he is the one who created it and was before it.
    I do believe Jesus was giving a New Command that had nothing to do with the Old Covenant
    in John 13:34
    "A NEW COMMANDMENT I GIVE YOU, LOVE ONE ANOTHER. AS I HAVE LOVED YOU, SO YOU MUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER"
    I don't believe he was referring to Lev 19:18 as it would not have been a new command from Jesus.
    I believe he meant it in his own expression that is different to the Old testament, Jesus taught to
    offer the other cheek and to love your enemy,
    while the Old testament teaches an Eye for an Eye, a Tooth for a Tooth. Matt 22:40
    This type of love is not found in the Old Testament and shows his New Commandment profoundly.
    So I will love my fellow brothers in Christ in the SDA church despite our differences as Jesus commanded.
    Practicing division for me is not an option, we ought to unite in the one body in Christ.
    May the Holy Spirit be with you all in Jesus name Amen

      SDA doctrine say it is an expression to do good on the Sabbath.
      I think it's more than that, Jesus also said that his Father is working on the Sabbath and he does like wise.
      Then this means the father never kept the Sabbath of Israel, He is not bound by his own statutes, he created the statutes and was before it. This is why it's not considered a sin for him to say this.
      When Yahweh blessed and sanctified the 7th day in Genesis, it has no morning and no night...so that day never ended like the rest of the days which has morning and nights.
      SDA likes to believe that in the 7th day in Genesis was when the Law Started.
      Sanctify does not mean Rule or a regulation.
      It simply means Anointed, dedication...he dedicated this day for us.

      I think the Lord's Day is different from the Day of the Lord. However, both sound similar because The Lord is Doing something on that day.
      Nevertheless, there is Evidence for The Lord's Day to be Sunday & The Sabbath to be On Saturday.
      In the Greek Bible & The Modern Greek word for Sunday, Κυριακή, is derived from Κύριος (Kyrios, Lord) also, due to its liturgical significance as the day commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ, i.e. The Lord's Day.
      Just like how Sabbath & Saturday in Greek mean "Σάββατο".

Revelation 1:10 says, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet.” Since the apostle John does not elaborate on the meaning of “Lord’s day,” we can assume that his target audience, first-century Christians, were already familiar with the expression.

    The Sabbath is set for man. And not for man over the Sabbath.
    When men go rest on the seventh day Sabbath and worship in service with Jesus. He will smile from us from heaven. For He has set the seventh day Sabbath for mankind.
    If man delights on the Sabbath Day, doing labor for pay and their benefit. Making their Sabbath Day in Sunday or any day Monday through Friday morning. Jesus will weep at you from heaven and spat you out for His Church for man was over the Sabbath Law.

      And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
      {1 John 2:3}
      For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
      {1 John 5:3}
      “If any man will do his will, [obedience] he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”
      {John 7:17}
      “Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
      So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our *duty* to do.”
      {Luke 17:9-10}
      For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
      So speak ye, and so do, *as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty*
      {James 2:11-12}
      Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole *duty* of man.
      {The Preacher 12:13}

    In Matthew 22: 34-40 Jesus himself told the Pharisee who asked him which was the greatest commandment in the law, that loving the Lord was the first and great commandment. This is the first four commandments of the one law which embodies the seventh day Sabbath. I am certain most would agree with 2 Timothy 3:16 regarding all scripture as being profitable for doctrine, and instruction in righteousness. Can we conclude that it must have been for Israel only, based on this text? Could it be that somewhere along the line after Jesus gave his reply to the Pharisee in Matthew 22, that now he has changed his mind? This has to certainly create a sense of confusion for some.

      Christ Himself says it was made for ALL of mankind(Mar. 2:27). The Sabbath was made the very next day after Adam and Eve were created(Gen. 2:1-3), and they weren't Israelites. Therefore, no honest seeker of truth can ever conclude that it was only made for Israelites. The command itself literally shows God saying that even the foreigners within the community were obligated to keep the Sabbath holy.

      @@larrybedouin2921 I was implying in my comment that the 7th day Sabbath was the part of the law (the first four commandments) that directly reveals our love for God through obedience to them. By my wording, it may have seemed that I was saying the law was for the Israelites only, which it is not, but for all of mankind. I was using the verse from 2 Timothy for support for all Bible believing Christians. I obviously confused everyone by my choice of wording based on the replies.

      @@davidstarr6604I would like to find verses that prove that but all I have for now is common sense. If our Creator didn't give the law to Adam and Eve after they ate the forbidden fruit, there would be no sin until Moses. Cain killing Able would not have been a sin yet he did know that it was. Yahweh spoke to Adam and Eve personally so how hard would it be to believe that He told them the law?
