*Here is fishing russian style by comparison* : You get the cheapest telescopic rod and chinese reel. the 0.4 mono has been on for last 5-10 years. the man has boiled 1/2 pack of pasta (0.35eur), collected eathworms from trashpile (free) in an old plastic margarine package (free) and has 0.7L of cheap vodka (4eur). Man has taken public transportation, riding it black without ticket (free) and walked to the location. He opens the vodka bottle and eats cucumber from his garden (free). After 1/2L of vodka, he decides to start fishing, but tangles himself. A friend comes wiith his 0.7L and they stick to drinking. Fishing isn't a priority any more, but man manages to throw the self maid feeder in the water, although right into the weeds. Then our hero awakens at the middle of night. He's cold, because he has passed out right on the moist sand next to water. He's still shit drunk, thirsty for water and he has pissed himself. Children have stolen his tackle and drawn dicks on his face, but he won't realize that until he sees himself in a mirror reflection behind alcohol stand in the shop. See? Cheap!
Also - fishing marketing team re-iterates you need a 2K eur PEG - a frickin drummers set, a 30kgs of carbon & aluminum you have to push on a dedicated 500eur barrow, brought to river in a truck or bus, because car is too small to fit all that in. Then you throw bait in the river you paid money for, to catch fish you will THOW BACK IN THE WATER! Something has gone of the rails.
What would you try change in your tactics if u need to fish 100-110-120g feeders?
I wish Preston would get their orders out faster. I haven’t been able to use my quiver for six weeks while I wait for them to dispatch a replacement tip to my local tackle shop. A bit piss poor.
Got similar problem myself with preston. Now switching to a different brands
We have several teams working and the warehouse is working 21hours a day 7 days per week.
Nobody could have prepared us for the sheer amount of orders we have received post lockdown. Quite simply it has been staggering.
As an example we received 2years worth of method feeder orders in 3 weeks (and we sell a LOT of method feeders anyway).
We are trying our hardest and the warehouse staff are doing all they can while sticking to the covid secure rules that the must work to.

You don't need anywhere near the equipment/bait these guys have in their seat boxes. The complicated you make it the harder it is. Less is more!
