  • In this Ableton Live Tutorial, we will be taking a look at how to use generative music techniques to create lots of melodies for your songs. This is a great method for getting out of creative rut, or just exploring your creative options.

    You can complement this method - Lfo, which can be hung on parameters, such as randomization, which will change during the recording process. Well, or on another parameter.

    Great vid. But can you explain the midi record part again? If I arm the new midi track, then I can't start the midi sequence in the original track by pressing a key on the keyboard or on my Push.

    Hi .. can I ask..? Why would you need a compressor for side-chaining? Subd!
