This might be a hot take but I genuinely think this parental style is a form of neglect specifically one that is NOT talked about enough! As someone who was raised by parents who essentially the more we grow up the lesser they cared about me and my siblings eduction (mainly because my parents energy is spent up 90% within work/job) my parents became dull like almost depressed where they don’t have any energy to forcefully make us care about studying/our future, but at the same time they expected us to be mature about it and do it on our own without needing any inspirations/help as if we aren’t literal teenagers. Me and my siblings failed at least more than 3 classes and they genuinely get shook about it, like yes I don’t mind taking accountability and admitting that I fucked up but I personally think as someone who experienced this exact kind of parenting it’s also 70% the guardians fault, since I had to practically force/raise myself to care just out of fear of failing while I hopelessly watch my younger sibling become a failure and my parents doing absolutely NOTHING about it. (side note: I also like to add how millennials - boomers has been raised in horrendous ways where they definitely don’t want to repeat the cycle but completely being this ignorant SPECIFICALLY in todays society’s expectations is insane you’re essentially ruining your children’s way of survival by letting them become HIGH school drop out. I might sound dramatic just because I have adhd but that’s personally just my opinion. (_ _).。o○
Everything was cool until you dissed art history and art education. I have a natural talent for drawing, but I still needed teachers to help me out. If I didn't take art classes, I would still be struggling with perspective and anatomy. And as for art history, it's actually pretty interesting...Really, I don't understand why we need to shame people for wanting to take creative classes.
I’m a huge proponent of kids getting art education because they need to develop their right brain as well as their left brain. Plus it makes them more well rounded imo
good video again but i felt there were too many jump cuts. Just let yourself speak, and cut when you mess something up bad or have a long pause. Maybe its just cus I dont use tik tok or whatever but the super fast editing is a bit grating. Love your videos though keep it up
@@potatosfortots9909 yeah two other people said the same thing, I’ll adjust my editing for the next video. I appreciate you guys giving me feedback , that’s how I get better ❤️ thank you
ngl this video itself was so annoying to watch and listen, not because of context of the video or anything other than you just editing clips midway, it feels like i am watching a long video made from 2 second clip, and its not just one instance that pissed me off, its the many times this "clips" were edited. love you alot man but just do one take even if it has faults and we will still love you to death.
TikTok is slowly and quickly destroying this generation

Thank you Jermelli for letting people know! Me and others probably would have never known. 💀
School teaches you critical thinking, the real issue is parents not having their kids learn outside of school 🌝
