I kinda drive my bike in traffic like this, but I don't drive in the slow lane on the shoulder to pass cars. You're reckless in doing that. I'm glad we don't take the same freeways...lol
Hey man I live in downtown la and thinking about getting a motorcycle however I have no experience. Would learning how to ride In la be dangerous? Planning to only ride during non traffic hours till I get the hang of it. My brother rides and said I could have his bike since he moved but said it’s really dangerous however could just be saying that cuz he’s my brother. I hear mixed opinions but since you seem to ride in La downtown area what’s your opinion?
i would proceed with extreme caution - i had plenty experiences growing up with dirt bikes etc then slowly making my way on to the road - but for a complete beginner in LA starting out - that would be quite intense. not impossible. But absolutely should look into some riding courses or get as much safe practice in as possible before really taking it out.
I could never confidently lane split. The amount of people that just randomly pull out in front of my big ass car without any warning is baffling.
4.5 years. lane split everyday. not a single issue. be confident.
It’s not about confidence, it’s about risk assessment. Takes confidence to know you can do all that and choose not to.
Scary. How much faster did you get to your destination? Just curious. Looks like a solid 5/10 min. Also what time was this?
This is hella dope, thank you for sharing!
