You are welcome!
Thanks buddy!
Great stuff!!
Try to get these parts new as these RX (remans) don’t last as long as the new ones. Also I used a tiger pee and a pipe wrench to get the old one off and used anti seize goop on the new one. Great video brother, thanks.
And what is it for and what does it do learning, from you , like your teaching technic!

Hey Ryan is it possible to clean your Nox sensor?
when put the inlet nox in...how tight will the threads be?
If truck is already derate can you still change without taking it to a dealer plz ?
Cause I had it diagnosed at loves they found out the nix sensor may be a problem
I install on mine today but the plug on the board is different mine is square
Will the check engine light go off by itself when NOX is replaced?? Either the IN or OUT??
Yes, If the engine light is caused by the Nox sensor, it will go off after replacement .
Hi, I have a 2016 Peterbilt 579 with paccar mx13. Got 2 code that are the same aside from fmi being different. Spn 3227 fmi 10 and spn 3227 fmi 21. Description says After treatment 1 outlet percent oxygen 1. Any ideas if this could be a rear nox sensor? FYI, I’ve been seeing a lot more DEF usage where white powder is left on the brake chambers behind exhaust. So thinking it’s a bad Doser valve, I changed that but Def usage remained high. Now these codes came up. Any thoughts.
I might have missed it but is this the Inlet or Outlet Nox sensor?
It is outlet. Inlet is located at the engine area.
@@truckingandfixing thank you!! Getting my T660 same engine year as yours and I’m trying to learn the emission system as much as possible. Learned the hard way on my cascadia ...
Never mind on cost I just saw it
How you know so much about this stuff
Worked on farm equipment since I was a teenager, and went to disease training school and worked as heavy equipment mechanic in Navy for 9 years. Worked for Ohio CAT and many other companies. Hope it explained a little. In summary, it is from life and work experience.
I figured it was that. I just had a nox sensors replaced on my 2018 Freightliner cascade, it was covered under warranty. Now in shop for drive shaft is loose
How much ?
Can I drive the truck if I get the Nox sensor intake code? Or I need to get it in the shop asap
Unless you get derated, you don’t need to get in shop right away, but you should book your appointment as soon as you see the code.
@@truckingandfixing thanks. Where can I get the silver reflectors for the top of the trailers
Pretty sure they don't care about the sensor, nor the wire as far as cores go. It all gets replaced.
Hi Ryan, thanks for the very useful info. Did you use teflon tape on the threads of the sensor?
I used Antisieze, I think it would be too hot for Teflon tape.
@@truckingandfixing good point, thank you!
