What an epic run that was definitely our best moments of crawling so far for sure, that Gladius is on another level now such an impressive improvement 👌 roll on the next bro 💪
100% bro I've still got things to do to it lol roll on next weekend Sunday morning early doors as louie don't have football till 2pm so I'm free till about 12 ish
Mate I've travel for over 1 hour b4 and broke in the 1st 5 mins the drove all the way bk to say u had a few naughty words coming out my mouth was a understatement lol bit it happens sometimes but as long as h had fun when u did get out that's all that matters
Great Vid, Both rigs doing well and the Gladius has improved a lot. The ecto needs some brass knuckles/wheel weights but not much. Are you both on stock foams in the tyres? Looks like both need more tyre compliance which will give the extra grip you need, some form of custom dual stage or 3D priinted is what you need ideally then theres silicone inserts which are dead cheap but are rotating weight in the tyres plus they can also be a bit bouncy but should be better than stock foams. You need to match the foams or whatever you choose to the weight of the rig, the ecto being about 2.4kg will need softer inserts compared to what the gladius will need being 3.5kg but its shouldnt be too hard to sort out wth a bit of trial and error. I've just fitted my 3 rigs with 3d printed inserts and need to test them out to see if they need a final tweaking. Hopefully the are all ok. I've been getting lots of tips and info from watching Crawler Canyon. www.youtube.com/@CrawlerCanyon Lots of tests done there to find what works the best. Well worth a watch. Good luck with the trucks, looking forward to the next upgrades.
Thanks bro, yeah both running stock foams and I was toying with the idea of inserts or dual stage, I was that channel top it's very good, what 3 rigs do u have then?
@@BIGALSCRAWLERS I have an Ecto which is almost stock apart from some brass on the front axle and different esc and motor, a Carisma Coyote rtr thats been changed around (the chassis is bacwards out of the box - longer links at the front ) with a different motor/esc spur and pinion and my first crawler that i built myself out of random parts and 3d printed bits when I hadn't a clue what i was doing named Olive which is surprisingly good. All now running 3d printed inserts from Re-Volt. I also have an FTX Ravine rtr which is a toy grade 4ws moa truck but i dont class that as a proper rig, A Carisma SCA1E Range Rover kit in the box I need to build {had it since Christmas 22} lol And parts/chassis/axles/wheels/bodies to build another 5 trucks when I get the time. Plenty to keep me busy, Sadly nowhere local to run them that has rocks, closest is 24mile. Need to buld my own rock course.sorry that was long.
perfect driving and control champ..looking so real 😎👌
Thanks bro, it's pulls up all the bigger rocks now, I'm really impressed on how this rig has turned out
