Ferrari GTC4Lusso - Here's EVERYTHING You Need to Know!

- The Ferrari GTC4Lusso has a lot to take in, so join me for a full induction tour of my new car to run down the specification and how it all works! With a 6.3l V12 up front that makes the most incredible noise, lots of technology on the inside, and a very high spec with all the extras on offer; there's a lot to take you through.
Ferrari offer the GTC4Lusso with in both the 'T' version with a 3.9l TT V8, or in this vase the full fat 6.3l naturally aspirated V12 that makes 690hp and 697nm of torque. It has a clever 4WD system to provide a balance between traction and performance without adding unnecessary weight.
Presented in TDF Blu, my Lusso has the diamond cut wheels with red brake calipers hiding behind. The exterior is also home to all the available carbon fibre options including front splitter, fender gills, and side skirts, as well as the Scuderia shields and Italian tricolore flag at the rear. On the inside this continues with carbon door sills, LED driver zone, control bridges in the centre and all the upgrades to complement the Nero and Blu leather interior.
During this induction and guided tour of the car we can run through the specification, explore the interior and displays, as well as take a look at the engine and inside the luggage compartment. The GTC4Lusso creates a niche of its own as a 3dr shooting brake with seats for 4 and plenty of space, while retaining Ferrari dynamics and the sound of the V12.

It’s an amazing gran-tourer
Informative. I've just ordered the new carbon fibre roof spoiler which is a nice compliment to an all carbon fibre optioned car (mine is in Nero). I do respectfully disagree with your comment about the circular airflow vents. Don't forget they are in the Superfast and La Ferrari as well. They are hugely better than what featured in the Speciale which has now been (disappointedly) replicated in the Pista (they look really dated!) I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get the bluetooth remote valve FOB! AWESOME!

Agree with you, it would be nice to see the original luggage.
They are actually pretty standard size. They are just a bit oddly proportioned. And of course you can get them matched to the interior. You can also order custom straps to hold them down in the trunk since the leather boot makes everything slide around. I'd personally would have preferred fewer but larger cases. In all, quite nice but mundane.

The stock wheels are so ill fitting. You definitely need to invest in good looking wheels for this car, it will look 100x better.

Hi Shmee, great vídeos showing this amazing car. I would like to know how you would decide between the GTC4Lusso and the 812 Superfast if you were given the option to buy one of them.
Ângelo Andrade Cirino I believe he mentioned that this was about £100,000 cheaper currently for an equivalent car, plus all the added usability and comfort. It fits his garage better currently and has four seats.

Mikk Aasmaa personally I’d do the rear diffuser in carbon, and the interior in that saddle brown leather, and the exterior in a forest green. That’s all.

If the Lusso had another badge on the side other than Ferrari, I think most people would think the exterior was ugly. I've seen one of these and it reminded me of the BMW Z3 hatchback way back in 1998.

13:20 ok, so this might be a bit of a strange comparison, but i know that some KIAs also do this, and there is a way to turn it off in a sub-sub-submenu in the media settings somewhere. It’s called standard media volume or something similar. Of course i don’t know if this is actually possible in a Ferrari, but it’s probably worth investigating

I've got one question for you: I remember you drove the gtc4lusso updated by novitec. Does it worth to update it? Isn't it too noisy for the everyday use? Does the passenger display activate if there is no passenger in the seat? Would be nice if it checked for the seatbelt or something.
It only turns on if you manually click the button I believe. There might be a setting to have it permanently on but I haven't found that yet
Surprised the mirrors don't fold when you lock it,and open when you unlock it?
I don't actually think there's a setting at all for that but then they barely stick out beyond the rear arches at all so it wouldn't do much

Also i want to know and probably someone can shed some light on it. Since the lusso is a naturally aspirated v12 and the LaFerrari is a naturally aspirated v12. How come the lusso has less horsepower than the LaFerrari? Is it because the LaFerrari has a larger v12 engine or are certain more powerful components installed in the LaFerrari and not installed in the lusso. I’m guessing price has something to do with it.

I would have probably done the Crema interior rather than Nero, but I am happy either way. Against that I'd have spent less on the exterior carbon and small but pricey details.

You are saying Lessoh and it´s LúSSo. The emphasis is on the "Lu", the "ss" are realy sharp and the "o" doesn´t drag like you say it. It's fadded after de "ss" and the sound is "ó" not "oh".

Doug Demuro looks a little different
The automatic wiper does not work like the automatic wipers on most other cars. If you start with it set on A1 or A2, then the wipers will NOT turn on, even if it rains. You need to start it on 0, and flick it to A1 or A2 once it starts raining. But they will not stop wiping when the rain stop! They will keep wipe every 10 seconds or so. If you turn the engine off, then they will turn off, but will remain off for the future starts, even if it rains. Not sure how Ferrari thought that was the way automatic wipers should work, but that’s what they did!
