Good commentators ( specially Svidler ) but terrible production. The camera is never following the game they're talking about, it's always a different one which is confusing. Hopefully fixed tomorrow.
This lady sitting beside Peter Svidler, is somehow has an attitude. I am from Chicago illinois, as an avid fan of USA top players as well as regular chess tour commentator, i drove 5-6 hours to St Louis, Missouri, to see my favorite chess players on, August 26 - 29 Sinquefield tournament. I was standing in the hallway & i bumped into with this lady, i had a good gesture & a nice smile to her but just ignore me not even a mere nod of her head or something like she didn't even see me at all & continue walking heads up to the back door. Good thing i was able to meet my favorite players & had them signed the chess matt with the pieces that i bought from the St Louis chess club.
That was August 27 & 28, around 12:30pm to 2:30pm. Like i said, i am from Gurnee, Illinois, just drove down 5-6hrs just to see my favorite personalities, especially GM chess players, e.g. Fabiano Caruana, Alireza Ferruzza, Wesley So, Ian Nepomniachi, Ding Liren, Anish Giri, Pragg, Gukesh, Abdusatutov, and last but not least MVL. Actually, not a big deal at all...
Not true, she is really cool actually. I happened to also be there that day at the stl chess club and saw what happened from just a few feet away. You bumped into her on purpose when she was walking past in a hurry, clearly busy. It seemed to me like you were hitting on her. Sort of like in the movies when a guy bumps into a girl and she drops a folder full of papers and you both reach for it and your hands touch and your eyes lock and you fall in love instantly. Didn't work that time buddy, tough luck. And now you're here throwing shade on her, shame on you.
Some terrible camera angles. Btw, according to Anna Cramling, the transportation system for the teams was absolutely horrible, with pretty much every bus carrying the teams to the venue being late. The American team was smart and took the metro - and I suspect that other teams will do the same. You would think with the possible exception of a world championship, the biggest event in chess would be better run and covered.
Wow Peter Leko is playing and commentating at the same time!! Truly a legend ❤
Not even the commentators in the description are correct, what are you guys at fide smoking?
great cast! pleasant voices and tempo
Audio buzzing stops on the commentary around 1:36:00. A shame it took that long to sort it out
Peter svidler not Peter leko
Please at the end show all the results
