And make Wanda the protagonist, fighting the corruption of the darkhold, the multitude of multiversal heroes, and her own trauma. Dr. Strange can be a side character. They did Wanda dirty in MoM. To completely undo a character’s developments by having her be tainted by dark magic, and then have her die as a redeemed villain… that’s just not the story she should have had. This trailer got so much closer to the story that could have been. Also alluded to an actual madness of multiversal interaction. Like, we should have left the theatre being stressed out of our minds from a non stop onslaught of wtf moments. Oh well

Same, the movie starts off with 838 wanda having a nightmare, she almost gets posessed by 199999 wanda but she fails so she fight dr strange and strange ends up in 838 where he meets the xmen and the illuminati, wanda possesses 838 wanda and she fights all the heroes from that universe while strange frees wolverine from the chamber who wanda kills. He escapes to sinister Strange's universe, kills him and goes back to earth 199999 and he summons all the heroes from other universes to fight wanda, nightmare arrives in this dimension and fights wanda and strange, wanda ends up sacrificing herself while strange lives, the end.

Coming back to this video, I honestly feel like multiverse of madness should of been rebranded into being the finale of the multiverse saga where Wanda is the main villian, and all the multiversal heroes come together with main universe to help bring her down
This was beautiful. Song Choice, Tobey and Andrew trying to talk her out of it before it's too late, all these people coming together, like Jean Grey, Magik, Wolverine, Quicksilver, and even Hela's entrance at the end, and you even slipped PS4 Spider-Man in there! This was the multiverse movie we wanted, and you made it just a little bit easier to dream about it. Thank you.

The movie should have been called Doctor Strange: Darkhold. That is what it was. With elements of the Multiverse. I enjoyed it very much personally but honestly it did not live up to its name. As just a movie it was pretty good. But not the MADNESS we were promised.

This really describes a lot how extremely incredibly OP Wanda is.
Like imagine if universe 838 had a wanda that never lost pietro, where her dad is magneto and she even has a sister polaris, she never lost vision and was happily raising her kids with him, a universe where this is all possible because mutants exist, it would have made a lot more sense for her to want that because it'd be EVERYTHING she's always wished for and THAT doesn't seem fair. It would've also made for some amazing cameos and a great introduction for mutants in the MCU, while also meeting no way home levels of hype. It could have also been a good way for her to say her iconic line from house of M but twist it and instead say "no, more mutants" and bring in the xmen into our universe 616. It would have made her turn from hero to villain a lot more gradual and understandable and also redeemable. And it wouldn't have completely erased her character development from wandavision... just saying marvel, it wasn't that hard.

Like this seems like a pretty logical scenario especially after NWH and with this being the multiverse saga. We can only hope they're saving something like this for later.

Like with cap 3, that’s really an avengers movie with cap’s name only to make it part of the trilogy, so something like dr strange in the house of M would’ve been a better title if they chose to got his route.

This was SOO GOOD.
This gives the pation and emotion Wanda's reasoning was missing in the last film. The cameos live up to the title of "Multiverse of Madness" and as a "trailer' it promises more story than pleasing ONE dirdctors art style.

MoM would have been the perfect film to introduce some x-men. Like Dr Strange should have just gone round the multiverse and recruited x-men and other heroes to help him. The film never felt as though the Multiverse was in Madness, but by adding different superheroes from different universe in one place it would have been cool. But I guess, they gonna do that with Secret Wars, but they could have done a mini one here.
Remember when the first ever trailer of MoM had the X-Men styled 'Marvel Studios' logo? Back then we all thought the X-Men would play a bigger part, or actually, a part at all. I think the problem is that this movie went a way no one would have imagined..

I still think wanda has lost more than any other character in the mcu… her story is much sad compared to others… she grew up her whole life in fear of who she was and people feared her everywhere she went… she was always alone and even still is in the end of it all.. she didn’t ask for any of this, I think she just wanted to live a normal life so desperately and never got that for a good moment, something always had to happen and get in the way of that.. now that she is the scarlet witch.. people will fear her more and call her a monster when really she is just very very sad and a broken character at this point.

Well made! The movie was alright but it definitely was lacking something. Should have been r-rated, should have shown us more multiverses, more characters, it's called multiverse of madness, disney should have let the director go crazy with it
