I was disappointed in UTDP since it felt so forced and like they were soulmates. I wasn’t the biggest Saimastu shipper, but I really liked how toned down they were here. It lowkey made me kinda enjoy it

Seeing Kaede and Maki’s interactions makes me sad since they never got to interact much in V3. They probably would have ended up being close friends if they got to spend enough time together
Don’t worry I’m making a AU with Kaede as a survivor, and I explore their relationship with each other. I like to imagine that Maki has a soft spot for Kaede. Bc in the beginning I had a moment where she says to Kaede, “do you want to die?” And it freaks Kaede out, and Maki stops saying it to her, mostly.

HER INTERACTIONS WITH SHUICHI ARE SO WHOLESOME!
These interactions make Kaede sound more like the Ultimate Composer than the Ultimate Pianist, and I think that title suits her much more. She knows how to work with a variety of different people and scenarios, like different instruments, and still create music pieces that work with their different ideas. It gels really well with her ability to be a leader and get along with mostly everyone.

The final interaction (the one with Celestia, Rantaro and Monaca) is quite possibly my favourite one in this whole game. Claire De Lune brings back memories from V3 and it was just such a lovely ending to Kaede's route.

I loved Kaede in here, cause her events actually felt genuine. Not 95% saimastu shipbait. Plus, she wasn't ogling over Shuichi in each one of her events like she did in UTDP. She got to befriend and interact with other people. And when she and Shuichi did speak, it felt natural and like they were good friends. This definitely added some more character to Kaede, which I like. Plus, ngl, this game lowkey made me start to like Kaede X Maki
lol there was nothing forced in UTDP. They naturally liked each other. If anything, the Maki and kaede relationship is forced given that it is out of the blue

UTDP, why was Kaede ogling over Shuichi so much. Her reactions were legit to painful to watch, and so out of character. It had saimastu ship bait poured all over it
