“How many times does he come in his underwear?” absolutely SENT ME 😂
How many times does he come in his underpants… I twisted my ankle running from the podcast to RUclips… worth it.
19:52 Bro I’m dying! Hands down the best Jason quote of all time. You can see it on all of their faces
You can also hear Owl and production in the background cracking up 😂
I’m dead💀💀
GOLD JERRY, GOLD.
Mathematically speaking 1/2 off is more money than 50% more. You’d need 2x as much to make it the same
Honorable mention: Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L Jackson's characters from "The Other Guys"
Anyone else screaming "50% MORE IS NOT DOUBLE!!!" 😂
Omggg yes!
Paul Reubens in the Buffy movie was the first one that came to mind. Such a good death scene they called back to it in the credits.
Hmmm, can’t wait to see if there’s overlap from “most memorable death scenes” draft lol
Mufasa should have been up there. Resident Evil laser hallway, walken in deer hunter, macgrueber's team, reign of fire-matthew mcs
Wilson from Castaway was a impact movie death
Can't believe Macaulay Culkin's character in the movie My girl who died from getting stung by bees wasn't in here 😢
I just watched Land Before Time with my daughter for the first time. That psychopath laughed hysterically when Little Foot mistook a cloud for his dead mom.
Honorable mention for Bruce Willis at the end of Armageddon....
That's my 1.01.
Mike mentioned home as something nice to be 50% cheaper, and it’s close to the answer to me. The house flipping potential of everything being 50% cheaper is bananas. It’s pretty OP, I’m immediately going into that business. Half off houses, half off renovations, including the labor, half off the percentage the realtor takes, sold at full price.
I thought the same exact thing, especially since it's only you getting the 50% off. That market will never dry up.
But you would make 50% more money by selling the house you flipped in the other scenario, this increasing the total income by a larger margin.
Not even a mention of Boromir is shocking and frankly shameful
One does not simply mention Boromir’s death!
The end of the 13th Warrior was dope
shark in jaws, guy with grenades in Kong island, Marley in Marley and me
Capt. Quint from Jaws going undrafted is a crime
The most iconic death of all time is Private Wilhelm in Distant Drums. That would have been my 1.01.
Needs more Con Air and Deep Blue Sea.
Chris Pratt in The Magnificent Seven is spectacular
Some big honorable mentions for me:
Kane in Alien
The Iron Giant in Iron Giant
Artax in Neverending Story
Apollo Creed in Rocky IV
Thomas J in My Girl
I stand with Jason. Dobby dying in Harry Potter is so sad.
The boys trying to understand math lol. Lets say you make $100, and you want to buy some shoes that cost $100. If you make the shoes 50% off, now you can buy 2 pairs. If you make your income 50% more, you can only buy 1.5 pairs. Also, you will pay taxes on the extra income you make....
this is just a simple math question. 50% off purchases for life
But making more means you can then invest more as well so I think it is closer. 50% off purchases is still the play though cuz you also make money from things that are not income haha (gifts, inheritance, etc)
If I make $100 dollars a day and spend $90 of it on expenses, then saving 50% on my expenses saves $45 leaving a net positive of $55. If I instead made 50% more I would make $150 a day and still spend $90, which then gets me a net positive of $60.
I'll gladly take the extra money. Expenses should always be lower than income, so increasing a larger number by 50% is more impactful than decreasing a smaller number by 50%.
@@tristancooper3174 yeah but you fail to account for the fact that $55 in the less expensive world can buy you more things than $60 in the more expensive world.
Surprised Mike didn't take:
My Girl (1991)
Since he has mentioned that death scene in the past.
YES EXACTLY I THOUGHT THAT WAS GONNA BE ON HERE!!!
Gage from the original pet semetary.... jacked me up. I was born in 1986, and saw this way too young. 🚚
Samuel L Jackson in Deep Blue Sea😂
Mufasa's death needed to be on this list.
How in the Heck did a Sean Bean role not get drafted??? Boromir?
I'd tune into a Jason's pantry livestream! Think of the ghost hunting possibilities!
In the future just say the movie before the person who dies LOL much easier to avoid spoilers as a listener
I'm so glad others are commenting about the math error on the income question. I couldn't believe nobody caught that as they were discussing it 😆 But I think they ultimately landed on the best answer. Half off all expenses is certainly better
Guys....If everything you buy costs 50% less, then you double your purchasing power (200% of original purchasing power). If you make 50% then you result in only 150% of your original purchasing power. The correct answer is to take the cost reduction.
Happy Monday spit ballers
Samuel L. Jackson in Deep Blue Sea.....Casey Becker in Scream
It's everything 50 percent less. If you make 50 k you then make 75 k but with 50 k income you can buy 100 k worth of items
Fantastic thumbnail😂
Missed deaths: Boromir, star wars the order 66 deaths or Obi wan, blood eagle from Vikings.
Some of my honorable mentions
Boromir from the fellowship
Mace Windu (see previous comment)
Snape/dumbeldore/Sirius
John Travolta in pulp fiction
Deep cut here but if any one has ever seen the movie juice with Tupac, Raheem has a draft worthy movie death
Sean Penn playing boromir in 1st lord of the rings.
Leonidas in 300
Professor Snape.
All of fox and the hound - jeez how was that movie okay for kids mental?
I would choose 2x income, if everything was 1/2 off you would probably end up spending more trying to get a deal. It's also based on how much you spend so if you spend a ton of money every year then maybe the 1/2 off is more worth it
What's the difference between shouting, yelling and hollering?
How did nobody take Bruce Wllis in Armaggedon???
Y’all got all the way through the draft and I was like wow no Mace Windu and then you guys named every other Star Wars character and STILL no mace windu!!! I am shocked and disappointed
We all knew that death was coming and I was still shocked
Buy houses for half off and sell them for full price and there is your new job.
Bing bong.
Absolute travesty that Boromir, who shoulda been the 101, didn’t even get a mention.
Good morning gang!
Also Jason that’s mmm was a c- at best
At 19:52 just got the pod cancelled lmao
This is how we know they’re not lying when they say they never edit or stop recording. It’s actually incredible that they’ve recorded so many hundreds of hours of podcasts over all these years and so few examples of a moment so gloriously eyebrow raising
Is this different than most memorable death scenes? Haha
you could charge people 75% of the original cost of things because you would be making 25% since its 50% for you. so if it cost you $1. it would cost me .50 so I charge you .75 to buy it for you
Jason the vampire was PeeWee Herman
Mufasa not getting a mention is borderline criminal.
52:23
@@kscar363thought I might have missed it. Thanks
Boondocks Saints cat
50% more income benefits people who make more than they spend
Swimming girl at begins of jaws. Bruce Willis Armageddon. Sam Jackson deep blue sea. My Girl. Darth Vader. Arachnophobia spider in the slipper guy. Their picks were terrible.
Mickey in Rocky???
It wouldn't be $2 at 50% more it would be $1.50. Half off I think would be better
100k to 150k
100k to 50k
Half off is better
Brave Heart is such an over rated movie by these guys, lol
As soon as he said Sam, i knew. Ughhh.
Tony Stark was a 100 x better pick than Jack.
Mike just sold his whole draft by trashing dobby.
All Andy had to do was answer his own exanple. If I give you a dollar and it costs 50 cents for your bill, you have 50 cents left over. If I give you $2 and it costs $1 for your bill, you now have $1 left.
50% more not 100% more. No matter what you will have 50 cents left, but in one situation that is all it costs for the bill so 1/2 off is better
@KevinSkocypec your right I was quoting Andy when he said $2 didn't even think about it, but even still why would 1/2 be better if you are left with the exact same amount? That example it makes no difference.
Say you make 100k a year and typical bills cost you 50k a year. If things costs 50% less, you would now have 25k on bills and have an extra 75k. If you make 50% more you would bring home 150k a year and still spend 50k on bills. Leaving you with 100k left over.
Men of culture, we meet.... Wait what? I thought someone said Panty cams....😤
