@@350Z288 I have this Alpine bass tube for about two years now, it's very strong and quality sub. My amplifire is RA Motovative Audio Sphinx 2, that gives 361 W (RMS-4 ohms bridged). I play my tube every day (1-2 hours) at volume of 54/62 (Pioneer unit). It destroys Twingo 2 (2010.). Very powerful bass tube. I recomend it. That Alpine sub is made to last and it's capable to survive more than 300 Watts RMS.

Does it sound good in house like a "home" sub does? I mean is it only loud or you can really fell the "pressure" created by the car sub in a room? For example, if you play a 10-15 hz tone is it shaking the walls even if you can't hear it?
@@moskaz6524it has more deep bass than just kicks and it goes super low, in my room 37Hz - 41hz sounds extremely good i cant even hear my own voice on max volume! 😃
no more than 250w rms. I dunno, but other even more expensive Alpine subs don't take 300w rms. I looked at the coil wire thickness and all i can say. 250W+ can definetly blow it after longer use.
Ok cool. I just got the pioneer GM-A5702 it says 1000w but it's 480w rms I'm just wondering how to figure out what voltage to set the gain to. I have a multimeter. From a video I see some guy sed 300w rms is 14v output to the speaker.
@@cnottagejr active subwoofer needs 12v battery line, remote control, negative ground and passive subwoofer needs only rca cables to plug behind the radio ( no 12v battery line required ) 🙂

It’s a bass reflex and isn’t tuned that low, but if you retune it or block the vent port you can play 10-15 hz and feel it

This subwoofer is passive, it needs 100w rms minimum amplifier, i would suggest 250w amplifier for this sub.
